Not gonna lie - I was pretty emotional when I saw the title and then when I realised Craig bought the place, I was so happy. But still emotional because of the flashbacks.
I am so excited for you Craig - I can't wait to see the videos on your channel!!
Congratulations!!!!!!
Also congratulations to Steve and Terry on getting a new place. I hope they're happy!
Thanks so much! I'm looking forward to making those videos âș
I actually tested up.
this is pure nostalgic. steve training max in the basement, to steve and max training cooper in the current store, im so happy for the growth of everyone, the business and the youtube. hope you stay safe! đ€
Having this channel is also a great way for us to document our family's story, I know years from now we'll be very thankful that we started this CZcams channel đ
Wish max joins this last tourâŠ.đ„Č
@@evea.2183 What happened with Max?
I know the reason max didn't come he is at the store working!!
â@@Bluewolf09 it is possible that he is at the new store working and couldn't come
Its nice to see the old Hercules staying in the family! Even if candy wont be made there.
It is nice to know that it will be kept in the family at least just for a few more years
@@HerculesCandy Hope you don't sell it after the remodel.
Itâs heartwarming to see the house is staying in the family.
Yup'
By "selling" it all parties involved won't get taxed heavily as they would if they just left it to them in their will. Smart way to keep governments greedy paws off of their property.
Haha, I am so dense! I was thinking âwow, the new owner is super patient to let you all keep your stuff in his new house!â Congrats Craig on your new house! Loved the nostalgic tour!
You're not the only one, those were my thoughts too. Happy Craig is the new owner.
Me too. I was like dang, new owner don't mind. đ€Interesting people y'alls have out there. And then Craig pops in screen. He bought itđCoolio's...Awesome going through memories. Blessed to keep it in the family. Thanks for sharing. đ„°đ„°đ„°
lololol yeah you guys aren't the only ones who thought that
Me too! Congratulations Craig!!!!
Funny how fast things change. Seems like just yesterday max was practicing on fruit by the foot đ
I know, right!?
This is probably my âbestâ memory from that timeđ
Yeah he goes work at the candystore and instead of gaining weight he got all skinny, haha.
So glad this house will stay in the family. Canât wait to watch the renovation Craig! What a wonderful story your family has. Your family story would make an interesting Biography. Any writers in the family? đ
I'm documenting our story with these videos!
Sad be cause this spoiled it. But so happy for Craig lol
where did you move to
Amazing the house has remained in the same family for over 100 years ⊠(almost 120 years)
Congratulations Craig!!!
i actually cried when i saw that the title said the house was sold - I kept thinking 'wow, a long line of Andrianos' lived there. how sad to let it go' imagine my relief when Craig said he bought it. I think that is soooooo awesome!!! Congratulations to you all.
It is very nice to see future generations caring about their family heritage. So many couldn't care less.
Very true!
Itâs a little sad and so exciting to see the old place one last time. What a blessed journey Hercules Candy has gone through, Steve, your father and grandfather should be so proud! Congratulations to the âNew Ownerâ, May the house bring him as much joy!
The fan should go in the new shop with all the old equipment that is on display.
I agree! Also, the old stove!
U tube has changed many lives. Craig you helped your parents so much to do better and show the world how candies are made. đ„
Why does the shop look smaller without all the stuff?
Oh, the new owner looks like a great guy! đđ
it could be the camera lenses
Funny how that happens sometimes. I remember moving out of our old apartment and the room my brother and I shared looked SO much smaller without the bunk beds in it. And they were "L"-shaped bunk beds even (L-shaped bunks are usually actually T-shaped lol), so it took up even more space than regular bunks.
It's both a little sad but exciting because it's a new chapter.
I'm so glad Craig ended up buying the house. I was a little sad at the thought that after all those years it was going to leave the family. I hope you create wonderful memories in your "new" home. â€â€
And I can't wait to renovate the place and show you guys the process!
We now need a tour of Terri and quick Steveâs new home !
Yes- maybe record a video of her making some yummy vegan food in her new kitchen!
Yeeeeessssssss!âŒïžâŒïžâŒïž
uhh maybe they'd like to keep their privacy? People can get weird
That so good they are keeping it in the family.
@@christab3972 I'm not vegan but I miss those videos!
I started watching your videos right from the start when I was caring for my elderly Father, I did not comment for over a year until I could not hold back my piping bag comment! Your lovely family got me through some tough times when I was exhausted and needed a little cheering up at bedtime, thank you for one last tour, you may never know some of the stories of people you touched and delighted. One Australian fan xx
Good story!
I was excited to find that Craig bought the house! I was getting kind of bummed thinking that some stranger was going to move in and not appreciate the family history. I love your family, y'all are ALWAYS so positive. Anytime I'm having a bad day all I have to do is watch your videos. Maybe having to take a trip to NY soon and get some orange creams and say Hey!
BTW...congratulations on the new house Craig!!
Thanks so much, hope to see you soon!
Congratulations Craig! It's great to know you're keeping the house in the family. You and B (the contractor/ real estate partner) are going to make this place gorgeous!! I really hope you record and post the remodel on your channel.
That's the plan! If not on my current channel then on a new channel, but I let you guys know either way
I was thinking how many of the dints in the low pipe are the shape of Max's head? đ Congratulations Craig on the purchase. It will be nice to see how you redevelop the house Craig. I wish you all a wonderful future with your new homes.
I think there's a lot of Steve and Max shaped bumps in those pipes đ
@@HerculesCandy I didn't expect Steve to bump his head but that makes it a bit funnier đđ€Łđđ€Łđđ€Łđ
So awesome.... To see such humble beginnings of the family candy business....and to where you are today.
Steve's family is smiling down...
So glad you have the house Craig...to carry on making your own memories on the CZcams channel.
Showing the flash backs was great. Puts it in perspective.. I was like... Wow! Look at the store space! Look at the dusting room!
Look at Moms office!!!
You guys are such an awesome bunch of people and so deserving of the success your new place has made...to carry on making delicious sweetness and memories to share!!
Take care!! Look.foward to your new adventures...
Wow! What an amazing history. I teared up when I realized that Craig bought the house.
Ohh my gosh clicked immediately all the memories of Watching down in the basement
the clues to who bought the house was in the wrapping room now made into a bedroom, the running shoes and sunglasses!!!
think you guys need to make a version of the CLUE game, but with candies, yum! Congrats Craig! It's a beautiful piece of your family history and all the good vibes are there!
It would be so cool to see the parents new place too â„ïž
Congrats everyone! Nice to see Craig will take the torch for the house.
Thanks!
Oh man. Dyslexia is funny sometimes. I read Craig took a torch to the house.
Congrats Craig on your new adventure so glad the house is staying in the family. What is going to happen to Cara since you guys roomed together
Congratulations!! Moving the marble table up the stairs was my favorite video. I sat on edge for over an hour cheering for the table.
I am SO glad you have bought this home to keep it in the family! Good luck in your new adventures! Now we need to see where your mom and dad ended up!
This is awesome! This is what life and heritage is about. Your just next inline to do your part in keeping your families legacy alive. Long live Hercules Candy. Congratulations
Wow, this takes me back. I loved the old place and all the memories. So glad itâs staying in the family, canât wait to see what you do with it Craig! Do we get a tour of Steve and Terryâs new house too?
I felt nostalgic just shooting the video! But they'd like to retain some semblance of privacy, so unfortunately no we won't be doing a tour of their new place, although you're definitely not the only person to ask about that haha
@@HerculesCandy it was a lovely trip down memory lane, thank you! Thatâs completely understandable, they had their house on CZcams for years đ
Thatâs so exciting, Craig! Congratulations!đđ€©đ
I remember watching when Max was first learning how to do everything from Steve. Time flies!
I started watching for sometime before Max was hired, yâall have come a long way. Itâs amazing how Steve and Terri made such a small space work for them. So happy for them and the ânew ownerâ
Iâve been watching since you started your channels. Really incredible how you changed your parents lives. All your hard work paid off, for your entire family. So happy for you all!
I grew up in east syracuse by the sawmill near the tracks. My grandmother used to get candy from you guys every easter
That's basically down the street from both the old and new shop haha
Wow 1993 babies now buying houses .. i feel old.. congratulation and thank you for memories .. love a little down memory lane video.. from your silent fan here in Uk Scotland x
1992 actually đ
I'm not even part of the family, and I'm feeling very nostalgic for you all. Great memories!
This video was an emotional trip for me. I showed my mom your videos back in 2019. She passed March 2020. I found your channel by accident during the basement days and that's when I showed her. So seeing the old place just reminded me of her. In a good way haha. She bought me ribbon candy from a local shop here in Niagara Falls Canada. She said "I know it's not Hercules Ribbon Candy but I thought you would enjoy having ribbon candy while watching their videos." Still have to make an order. But please, document the restorations on the house! I love restoration videos and a lot of people on youtube do to. So when you post the video, tag it under restoration. You'll get a lot of views for it.
She sounds like a great Mother! I hope you can make it to the shop one day!
Iâm very happy Craig bought the house! Thatâs Wonderful!!
Iâm gonna be 100% honest this made my heart hurt I watched you guys for so long making candy in the basement lot of great memories really made me cry when I saw this video
I was feeling sad thinking the house was sold out of the family and the sign in front was going away. So glad Craig bought the house.
Exciting to take a trip back in time. I first started watching when you were still working in the basement. Youâve come a long way! Congratulations
It is crazy how you guys used to work in the basement. What a great accomplishment the new shop was, definitely deserved.
That was just so neat. Interesting how not only the business has been passed down through multiple generations, the house was too. Never knew the product was kept on the marble slab and had to be moved off in order to make product. Kind of like a goldfish that will grow as large as the environment will allow. Thanks for that trip down memory lane, and good luck on the remodel.
I donât know why this made me feel like I was losing a part of somewhere i had made memories in đ itâs always hard but it means youâre going up in the world, itâs a positive sadness for you I can imagine
Congrats Craig! Construction with Craig videos coming soon! Would love to see Steve and Terry's new place as well, best of luck with all of projects!
Just...WOW! So happy for everyone. A win-win for you all! đđ ~Sharon
I was a bit sad to know the place was sold (assuming it was sold to a stranger) and was thinking, gosh you mean to say there wasn't someone in the family who could have bought it and kept it in the family since there was so much history.. I was so happy when Creig said he bought it. I can't wait to see the renovations and what it'll look like when it's done. I'm anxiously waiting to see those videos. Also videos of Steve and Teri's new place. Don't forget to do a muckadoo there for us.
You all put your heart into everything and deserve a new home and for the old one to stay in the family is amazing.
Congratulations Craig, teary eyes here when you announced the new owner but they are happy tears that it is youđ Can't wait for your new videos on the houseđ
We going to miss it
Edit: I didn't realise it was you, I'm interested in watching the progress
I'll keep you guys posted!
Ohhh the memories! I bet that place has some awesome energy in it, thanks to you guys and the friendships and awesome times and also tough times. That energy will be in the very building materials and I bet it has left a lovely warmth. Thanks for the last look around. As much as the new place is so much more suitable and stuff, I have the fondest memories of this place and am glad to have gotten a goodbye to it. Here's to the 'new owner' enjoying the place and being happy there.xx
I was sooooo nostalgic about this, and stunned at how agreeable the new owner was, allowing you to go in the premises, and still have some of your stuff there, until the 10 minute mark đđđ. Congratulations Craig.
I just have one question. Have Terri and Steve moved somewhere else?
I'd hope so. If not, they're sleeping at the shop. I can tell you, from personal experience, there's no room. Unless they're sleeping on the sugar bags...
@@VampFaye realised that when we got to the end of the vid.
Nah I kicked them to the curb! đ
Same! I was thinking that the new owner was so accommodating but also thinking well of course because Steve and Teri are so nice, etc. It was a nice surprise that Craig bought it.
Omg, I'm so happy Craig bought the house! I actually figured it would be Craig AND Max lol. I was happy and sad watching this because I've been watching your videos since you were making candy in the basement. That house has so much family history, I hope one day Craig can pass it down to one of his children. I'm so happy the business has lasted through this pandemic! You all have been truly blessed. Thanks Craig for the final tour and I hope you will have many more wonderful memories in that house!đ€
I donât comment much but this is a special time to come and congratulate you on your new house, so glad you are keeping the house in the family, I am a traditionalist and it warms my heart to know the house will remain in the family. Congratulations! I love remodeling videos especially when they show a time lapse of when itâs all done.
I started watching you guys when you were down here. I actually remember not liking the new place as much until I realized how much better the lighting was for the videos.
WOW! That was a surprise! I'm so glad it's staying in the family! I was VERY confused why buyer and seller belongings were mingling inside the house because I've never seen that before.
Congratulations everyone âŁïžbest wishes for your new place đâ€ïžâŒïžđ
Congratulations, Craig! It doesnât surprise me one bit but Iâm glad youâre keeping with tradition in keeping the house in the family.
Congratulations Craig!đđđ
I loved the basement but so happy they were able to get a new store. I go back and watch old videos
Congratulations Craig, it's nice to see that family home is staying in the family.
So many memories from that basement! Your journey have been such a treat to follow over the years. I started my little candymaking hobby around the same time you started sharing your videos. They are the best company while cutting caramels and wrapping chocolate! Still holds some candymagic in those basement walls. I am sure you will have so much fun fixing up the place and I look forward to the new videos on your channel Craig! đ
Congrats Craig! I've loved keeping up with your wonderful family, and all the history of Hercules Candy! I'm happy you're able to keep this house in the family, and cant wait to see the progress of renovations!
How great the building is staying in the family! Congrats!
Congratulations Craig. So nice to know the house made its way to the next generation!!!
Love the in video memory video clips for comparison.
Congrats on your new home, Craig! And Steve and Terry's new home! When are we Gonna see that? đđ
I'm one of those huge lurking fans that you guys are constantly talking about! lol I am finally breaking down and actually commenting. I have been a lurker since 2015 when I lost my Mother unexpectedly in her sleep in April of that year. It completely broke my spirit. There wasn't much that I could watch on TV that wouldn't upset me and/or make me cry, but your candy making videos were so comforting! Watching the wonderful relationship you have with your Mom as I did with mine was also comforting. I just want to thank you guys for bringing me out of that deep dark place when very few things could and Craig, give your Mom a real big hug for me! Much love to all of you and it has been amazing to watch the growth of Hercules Candies all the way in North Carolina over the years. If it will ever cool down, I'm placing an order! lol :)
Well thanks for watching, you should comment more often, I love interacting with you guys!
Can't wait to see how you turn it into a "new" living space. There is so much character in this house.
It would be nice to know a bit about where Terri and Steve will be living; obviously in general terms because they deserve their privacy.
Was sad to hear it had sold until it was revealed it stayed in the family! Congratulations! Onward and upward!!
Great keeping the house/ candy store/ candy kitchen in the family.....yay, Hercules Candies
This is wonderful news. Congratulations Craig and blessings to all of you.
Aw, that is so sweet. I wasn't expecting that.
i started watching your channel while you were still here ...... where the candies were moulded in the starch room in the moulds .... wow !!!
Warm and wonderful family, sweet through and through.
Yes, CONGRATULATIONS đđ on your purchase of your FIRST home, Craig! I'm also thrilled to hear that it will stay in your family đđȘđȘ
Perhaps Cara could rent the upstairs or maybe Max?!
I'm happy for you and Steve, Terry đ
Congratulations on buying Your House Craig. And congratulations to Terry and Steve on their new house as well!!
Thanks Sarah!
I didnât realize that house was so old! How cool!
It's so beautiful that you bought the place! That's what I want to do with my families place! It's been in our family since 1941 in San Francisco
Congratulations
Steve's High School Stereo!! Lovin' It!!
Hunter fans absolutely make great fans! I kept the ones in my last house running 24/7 for about 20 years, reversing their direction twice a year and they never slowed down! We are putting them in the retirement house we are currently building and I expect the new ones to out live me!
I never caught on I thought it was really strange that you still had stuff in there..lol Congrats!! Craig on your new home ownership!! đ đŸ đ„ đŸ
Looking forward to seeing the transformation.
The new store looked so huge in the beginning now it busting at the seamsâŠlol
Congrats Craig, many blessings in your new home.
Wow - that was a great tour! And I didn't have a clue that you were the new owner until you told us. I'd love to see videos of you renovating. And maybe you could show us photos of the house over the years, an historical perspective. Where are Steve and Teri living now!? Congratulations to you and your whole family!
That's great that you're the 4th generation. Try and hang onto that if you can so your kids can take over it. Generational homes are hard to find these days. Families that just grow up in the houses and their families grow up there and so forth and so on. It's a great thing
I loved the history you guys told here. Passing the house on for generations... I'm glad to know the new owner.
I still remember the first ribbon candy video Craig posted. Iâm so happy to see the growth of Hercules Candies over the years.
That's awesome that Terry and Steve bought their new ranch home. Craig please interview them/ discuss more deets on the homeselling & buying if u can. Many of us are interested, bc we are also buying a home during "high priced schrona" now.
I like the new shop. But I miss this one.
It's great to see the family tradition continue on. It's important these days. Both with the candy shop and the house.
I love watching your videos on candy making and the great friendships and family members.
OH MY GOODNESS! My heart broke at first, but I had a sigh of relief with the reveal. đ€Ł I can't wait to see what B says he can do with the house, and I'm excited to see the process. I hope Momdre and Quick Steve have a beautiful and comfortable time in their new place. đ„°Congrats Craig!
Loved the video, although it was a little sad seeing the old place for the last time.. Glad you bought it though and that it is still in the family... thanks for sharing old memories..
So glad to know your family home will remain in your family! Two questions - is there a door in your house where you used to keep track of the children's heights? And does the house have a dumbwaiter?
Oh Craig if you post the renos on your channel that would be amazing!! Congratulations on your purchase. Lovely to see you guys đđ±
This is so cool! Congrats on your new (old) home, looking forward to the changes!! đ đđłI hope you will incorporate some Hercules nostalgia in your home! It would be great to have a photo of the 4 generations of family homeowners!!! Humble beginnings đ«đŹđđ«đŹđđ«
The handover done with class, as usual. đđđđ
I can't wait to see the renovation process
Are we going to get to see Terry and Steves new place too?
