It's maybe your best yet. Although the ones you made with the Joggles stencils are hard to beat. I dislike straight lines and was rather unhappy with the first laydown in spite of the gorgeousness of the papers, but you pulled it out with the second cover. The colors are perfect. Hi Froyle - oh wow, I can't believe you came to my town, Portsmouth, UK!!! I wish I'd known😊😊 Tell me about our weather!! It's sunny today, but bloomin' cold (oh to live in New Zealand!!!). Back in the early 70's, our school had a trip to Stone Henge, and can you believe, we was allowed to have a picnic on the stones!!! I haven't been for a few years, but I know it's sealed off now - probably due to messy girls leaving food all over the stones, 😮😮😮😂!!! I have missed you and am SO pleased to see your new video today. Hi Froyle - it would have been lovely to meet you too. I have to admit though, Portsmouth is a bit of a dump these days - it has changed so much over the last few years. Yes, I'd heard that Stone Henge is cordoned off now - can you imagine the graffiti all over it, if it wasn't protected!! We never used to deface things like they do today. I don't know if you've ever seen the film, "National Lampoon's Vacation" with Chevy Chase? He and his screen family accidently knock one of the stones over, and they all collapse like dominoes, it's so funny!!! Take care, xx😊😊😊

Beautiful,your pages are works of art on there own , always so beautiful. Can I ask what paper should I use for my making my collage papers. I've used mixed media from my pad but was very thick, then used just some white paper that crumbled up when added more layers. Yours always look lovely and thin. Thank you I'm learning.
All of it works! If it crumbles, go with the texture 👍🏼 I use Japanese rice paper, white tissue paper, watercolor paper, really whatever I have! Even paper packaging 😘 happy creating! Cheers Froyle

Froyle - you never cease to amaze and being such an inspiration❤🥀 This collage is simply stunning!!! I know you made this for your mum. But I'm wondering - if this was a collage for sale would it be alright to use giftwrapping paper like that with the cranes on in relation to copyright?
Yes I think it would be alright because you are using the item to make an artwork, but I’m not a copyright lawyer! 😂 cheers

Love the Distress sprays - unfortunately, they react with any moisture applied. I've found that spraying the treated papers with Mod Podge Ultra seals any water soluble paint, without the horrible fumes or danger to your brain! LOL - I do need to keep all the brain cells I have! How come everything you make is gorgeous?!

Hi, Thanks for the video! Do you ever use magazine papers in collage? Are you concerned that they will fade? What do you use to glue them to avoid wrinkles?
I don't use magazine pages, thin paper is more prone to wrinkles, I use Matte Gel Medium, cheers

I have used some collage papers in some areas on canvas along with acrylic paint. Later I could see the places where collage was adhered with matte medium were dented in. I added layers of gloss and matte medium on top, but could still see indentations where the collage papers were glued. These were rather thin _printer paper. Now I want to do more collages with paint on a larger canvas. Besides using only tissue paper, how can I avoid this problem when gluing onto canvas?
Yes it could 👍🏼 put your thinnest paper down first, then use heavier paper with each layer 😍 cheers
