Whether it’s something subtle like getting @’d by the official CS:GO Twitter account, or something genuinely life-changing, like winning a Major -- or, hell, even just seeing your alias slapped onto a Major sticker, Counter-Strike is filled with ways to elevate and, indeed, immortalize oneself.
But of all the accolades that can be bestowed upon those who live to counter strikes, none are as esteemed or sought after as a montage cut by CS:GO's mysterious meme-loving frag movie maestro: SuperstituM.

Eh, his editing is competent for sure he's very tight, but I and anyone else with video editing experience can cut clips to music. I think the impressive part of his videos is how he always has the most relevant clips to splice in. Like some random stream in 2017 a player says "this guy will never get a knife on me" and then it cuts to 5 rounds that player gets knifed by the dude. The sourcing of the material and cutting it into little cohesive stories is what makes him stand out imo. Like just imagine the time spent gathering that footage.
He's one of the very few Counter-Strike content creators that have a significant influence in the community. For a game so popular, content creation lacks in the game. It's mostly professional players that matter.

Superstitum is easily the reason why csgo has the best storylines and why cs pros feel like they have more debt to them not many people would know about the smoke criminal and stuff if it wasn't for him in my opinion he is one of the reasons why the csgo pro scene feels combined more like a family of sorts

It’s actually crazy how universally loved he is. CSGO pros in particular, especially across cultural barriers, are hard people to get on the same page. Not only did a montage creator-already an overly saturated, rarely cared about niche that exists in every fandom-manage to validate himself amongst the entire community, but he became the person to validate others. I’d say I didn’t get it, but I’ve seen his videos. There’s no question why he’s been goated
