@@Lenalennnnnnn Particularly the sweatsuit with the polo underneath for masc sims... you know that polo is pure polyester and I can picture my grandpa wearing that outfit XD
As someone who is in her 20’s and love dressing like a grandma, my sim self will be very happy

I always hated the limited options for senior sims before and really didn't know anyone older in real life that dressed in most of the base game selection, lol.
We badly need more for masculine sims and I am glad they have delivered
the sims team obsession with dress / button up shirts under so many masc tops drives me up the wall
I agree. I do think they look good, but I don’t need 5+ versions of the same thing in every pack.
Yeah they did great with the Masculine wear. I also think the tracksuit is for the grandpas because that seems like something they would wear
Looks great but god, yeah, I'd love some grunge/alternative fashion! It feels like we haven't really gotten much along those lines for SEVERAL years now.
I agree. I think werewolves had a couple grungy pieces though a little werewolf specific. And the Highschool pack had a handful of swatches that could be used on alternative sims, but apart from that we haven’t gotten a lot recently. The last time we got a good amount of alternative clothing options was realm of magic. And before that was vampires. They only really deliver with the alternative clothing when they put out occult packs and the issue I have with that is that those clothes often feel too specific to those occults and are therefore not that versatile for regular sims. And that also goes for the build and buy stuff in those packs too. I wish we could get a pack focused specially on alternative sims, even just a kit would be nice.
I am a little bothered by the shape of cardigans and big sweaters on sims that don't have a thin waist :( it's not exclusive to Growing Together though!

Yeah, I’m not a fan of the “wavy” effect at certain angles. I wonder if it’s an issue with how clothes go on sims because it happens with even base game

I'm not upset that younger groups don't have the moles, especially on the face. In reality, it's rare for little ones to have moles when they're born. The thing I learned in my pediatric residency was that they start with few, and they develop as the child develops, with many aren't there until the teenage years. As one ages, moles will often fade out too. Some adults go back to not having most of their moles. I'm also a "moley" person and as I've aged, I've seen the decrease.
i was born with a lot (face included) and they only keep going up in numbers 😂
Hi Mollie, thank you for this video, I’m actually excited for this pack which hasn’t happened in a while as I’ve gotten pretty burnt out with The Sims. Hope you’re doing well, remember you’re an absolute legend!
It doesn't look like the feminine-tagged clothes are lined up very well in terms of the mesh - you can really see it in the stripey or knitted outfits that gives Celeste this strange midriff bulge that isn't there on her actual body.
i think celeste has a masc body frame so that might be why (but sometimes also clothes in sims 4 do this based on body shape)
i say this for every pack but thank you again mollie for these videos you put out every single time we get a new expansion. your tireless work is so, so appreciated
In my opinion, we do need more knit items in CAS.
But, it's one of those items that really dependent on your sim's style.

That's what I've been saying about this pack too. In that a lot of the items are similar to what we already have in the other packs. With a few unique stuff like sleeping bags. But still no spiral staircase or many new clothing styles. I also totally agree about the hairs. The Black hairs are cute, but others are more mediocre and definitely not enough styles in total. So, I can definitely see waiting for this pack to go on sale or maybe get down the road unless a more interesting pack comes along first.
Is it just me or did they have a « plain » strass free version of the female sweatpants and hoodie full body outfit in the livestream, that they’ve since removed ? It’s a shame, if they had to remove one, they should have kept the most versatile version.

This is actually one of the few EP CAS I absolutely love. I just live for the Elders clothes and the "tired mom"-look. Only thing that is really missing is more regular kids and toddlers clothes. I understand they excluded Teens as they've recently got a whole pack to themselves. But nothing excuses *one* top for male toddlers...
And I will say that there is a visible gap in the quality of the clothing in this pack. You get amazingly detailed stuff and the next thing you click on are trousers with drawn on pockets. So that adds to it not feeling cohesive.

Re the comfy/cozy, coming from a pregnant lady, it makes a lot of sense to have comfy/cozy clothing. Especially since there is a lot of pregnancy related stuff happening in game. Everything is loose fitting, SUPER high waisted for extra baby belly support (I'll tag you in a pic on twitter lol), baggy, and just in general soft and cozy.
The menswear I have been waiting for! Also I saw a lot of integration from other things, like the First Fits Kit brand/style was in there.
There’s a few logos for clothing now, I like that, adds a little realism

Question:
why do so many of the sweaters bulge out around the waist? Especially on the Sims' left side?
It really bothers me that throughout the game, thick shirts seem unreasonably large only at the waist.
just create a sim thing in general-i wish they had a mirror in the back in CAS. Because i do not always turn my sims around to see the back of their shirts, and sometimes i am quite surprised.

@@kimepessin I find both cas and b/b to be severely confusing in style and execution. I would much rather have one full set in a select style, than half a set in two different styles. The choices the team made about what made it in to the pack is ridiculous in my opinion. Have you seen the chairs? 😶 Very disappointing.

Not a huge fan of this CAS, but I suspect this is a pack I'll buy for the gameplay anyway.

You're so right with the feminine clothes- so much of it looks like assets from other packs. Weird choice.

nah i’ve had moles since birth! i’ve got more as i’ve got older but deffo had some of them since i was tiny

YES!! i tested a couple of them and they were all working as they should. obvs some might not be obvious with dark chest or back tattoos but you can have both tattoos and the details

The men's cas is always lacking nice to see they are getting more outfits but at same time the men's clothes is still so bulky looking. Oh and boy children have so little compared to girls. In children and toddlers. I want more for them.

That facial hair was desperately overdue.
Not gonna lie, I'm disappointed with the skin details. I'm a console player, so mods aren't an option for me, and a lot of these moles seem a bit too similar to ones we've already gotten in previous packs.
we don’t have any swatches of multiple moles like the ones coming with this. and the freckles actually look varied too bc they’re kinda more splattered and deffo realistic looking

nah i wanted to focus more on the familial relationships and new features. celeste uses she/her pronouns and i think has a masc frame but that’s about all i know about her

The female hair is actually so bad… like not being funny but there are only 2 decent ones - the short one and the one with the hairbands - surprisingly the ones they gave us two variations of! The box braids in the bun are TERRIBLE, I think it’s the size of the bun that throws me off, and let’s not even talk about the two straight hairs they gave us 🤮 I feel like everyone is saying they’re nice cause it’s good to have representation but they’re not nice, we can have representation and beautiful hairs

Love what I'm seeing so far of the pack though I am sad most of the infant items and clothes are locked behind the pack. Hope there's infant items and clothes being added to previous packs though I doubt it 🫠
