I remember crying while watching this episode when I was 13. Now here I am, almost 18y.o feeling like crying again. Sket Dance will forever be my favorite anime of all time!
I watched this when I was 12 and now I'm 18. It was on Animax, a tv channel in Malaysia. This anime has a special place in my heart
@@naylisyazwina6836 Time really flies by quickly, here in Brazil we also had Animax. I wasn't lucky enough to have Sket Dance broadcasted here though, but i fondly remember binge-watching Bleach around 2010 on Animax.

Switchs past was the worst of them all. He was so traumatized, that joining the Sket Dance wasn't even enough to fully heal him.

Its not trauma, its a sense of guilt. He felt guilty of sending his brother alone with his friend because of mere jealousy. He felt like he was reprehensible for sending his brother to his death
@@LinkedHero that "I am proud of you guys" coming from him is so strong, my eyes shed tears.Then afterwards they 3 fell together while hugging each other, laughing, and the Himeko starts bursting with rain of trars. I had never cried over fictional characters before, so felt deep inside
I really really really want that "I am proud of you guys" and the 3 hugging, laughing, and crying together animated. Too bad it will never happen

Switch's past was one of the difficult stories which hit me hard really hard. This manga has has. Bossun is such a nice person so Himeko

Just a heads up this arc is called "Switch Off" and the newest arc in the manga is called "Switch On" aka. the second part :D

He knows that if he didn't tell the girl something that wasn't true, like their girl childhood friend and his little brother were dating, maybe his little brother would have lived... but then again, he could have died.
wait scratch that... if he didn't feel jealous over his little brother's talents and the praises he got from their girl childhood friend the tragedy wouldn't have happened or so he thinks... but the worst possible scenario is that one of them would die

Forget it, man, it was a tragedy. It's horrible that it happen, but wandering how it would be if this not happened doesn't make it better.

But have you thought that if our current Switch hadn't told her anything, their childhood friend would have died. There was no way out of it... and he himself wasn't gonna die. That bitch(oops forgot her name) had no idea that our Switch(Usui) liked the girl who had taken her love away...

I love this anime so much! It taught me so many good things & I wish I have someone like Bossun in my life to solve my problems & be there for me.
