$1 Dollar Flapping Butterfly

My newest design/tutorial/short: How to fold a Pull-the-Tail Flapping Butterfly from a 1-dollar bill. Did you notice the novel and special attribute of this Flapping Butterfly?... It's that the two wings touch at the top as it's flapping, just like real butterflies do! I experimented a lot to figure out how to get the wings to consistently fully close at the top, and the breakthrough was discovering that the key to fully closing wings is to actually push in on the tail prior to pulling it. The other major key is to make the reverse fold on the tail much smaller than the tail of the traditional flapping bird. Otherwise the wings won't close all the way.

The one he taught is not a flapping butterfly. His video is also 40-times longer than mine. Even when I make a long-form version of my butterfly I don't expect it to be more than 8 minutes long, hopefully much shorter.
