Souplantation Returns! A Look Inside Soup ‘n Fresh

Throughout all of SoCal, Souplantation was cherished by many for its unlimited soup and salad buffet at an affordable price point. But then, in 2020, Souplantation went out of business due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Years later, Soup 'n Fresh has opened up in Rancho Cucamonga, offering diners a chance to relive their memories of Souplantation once again. Is it as good as Souplantation used to be, and in what ways is it different? In this video, we answer these questions and more!

They didn’t have the tuna tarragon when we visited, unfortunately. The only prepared salads we saw were the Asian and Caesar salads at the beginning of the line.

Yes! Though they are thinner “shoestring” beets vs. the crinkle-cut beets that Souplantation used to have.

We showed up before opening hours and it wasn’t too bad. By the time we finished our meal, though, the line was around the block!
Yes, they’re in soft opening through all of March. Grand opening is on April 2.
