I just came across this GREAT song. I keep listening to it but I change the words to I am still Nebraska! I know my state gets forgotten but we are flooded and hurting right now, our ranchers are losing their cattle that feed America...farmland is flooded that would grow corn to feed America, etc. Through all of this Nebraska is one strong state and we stand together and help each other out as usual. So, thank you for helping this one Cornhusker still feel some sort of belief that we will be okay even though you are not singing about Nebraska. GO HUSKERS! Maybe you could adapt this for Nebraska....we are not just farmland...we are clean air, beautiful sunsets and most of all we treat each other with respect and would do anything to help each other out!
