It's so pleasant, it reminds me of the happy playing and walks outside with my friends, but it also holds onto the sadness of being left inside with nothing to do but wait for the world to meet it's resolve.
it is such a haunting and bittersweet melody, the delicate twinkle of the notes, the somber hymn from the choir. They are children in a cruel world, knowing nothing but survive, and they do thus by their own means. How can this be so light and filled with such loss and a sense of sorrow?

Wether or not she did was questionable, yes he saved her 3 times but she changed throughout the game 😕
Mono clearly cared about her as did we (the players) , but she changed over time
1 year later.
Slight spoilers.
She did beckon you when the man in the hat comes after you.
If she truly was selfish she would have left mono behind, and if he did manage to catch up then good for him.
But she didn’t, she stayed by as long as she could and even reached out for mono when he was unconscious.
It is lead to believe that whatever the thin man had done, intentional or otherwise, to six had changed her.
Turned her into a soulless uncaring husk of her former self perhaps.

I will say the one thing about that is that we do see that she is still slightly caring in the original LN. She hugs the Nombs and helps them throughout the game.

This game left me with a sorrow pit in my stomach. The ending was….just so….damn…sad. I was not expecting that ending. Lowkey haunting.

@@PhenicFox Yes but Bandai Namco stated that they might make it but theres no release date confirmed. And not all progress is lost. So we can hope for the best to be a LN3.

Played and finished this game when it first came out, with my now soon to be 12 year old daughter.
I introduced her to Little Nightmares,
We finished Little Nightmares together taking turns.
We bonded, it's as if I were Mono and she was Six.
I'd help her whenever she got stuck. This song reminds me of our relationship 😭

I love little nightmares as a whole for a reason such as great soundtracks chilling ambience disturbing rooms or entities (monsters) but what i love most about the second one is the great wholesome areas for such a good creepy franchise

Ln music makes me want to cry honestly.. Its weird on how I feel so emotional towards a fictional event in a game.

also i have a speculation for number 3 being mono reunites with six and she explains why she dropped him. six was the first character to be introduced and mono was a beta, so i think itll go down with her being the last one and that the nightmares started by the telekinetic woman and the thin man.

The music carry a lot of sadness it's like a lonely voice that call for help like someone who fell down deep in unknown place knowing he will never see light nor anyone

Idk if its the music and the underlying sadness I get from it knowing the context and everything but I just feel like sharing something.
When I was little my grandparents next door neighbors had a son who was right around my age and we were instant friends from the moment we met.
Every time I was over at my grandparents house, he would come over and ring the doorbell and ask if I could come out and play with him. We would play outside for HOURS, we stayed friends for soooo long and we would just goof off and do nearly everything together.
When I wasn’t over he would come over to my grandparents house and ring their doorbell to see if I was there.
I’d do the same all the time. There was a hedge in between his house and my grandparents and we would look at each other through that hedge and make stupid faces and laugh.
Almost two years ago he was killed in a car accident... he was only 15, a freshman in highschool. The last time I saw him he came over and rang the doorbell like he always would and we went outside and hunted for toads and made a village for them and their babies which had infested the backyard. He was so cautious as to not step on any so he jumped through the grass to make sure there weren’t any under his feet. He had always been kind and considerate over things that seemed pointless and simple to others. When I had to go to bed we texted until 4 AM about the toads and made up some absurd lore for them. At that point we hadn’t seen each other in a while but we acted as if nothing ever changed. We stayed childhood friends through all the years.
When we were little he asked to kiss me repeatedly and I would always giggle and say “noooo!” 😅. It wasn’t until I was at his funeral when his mom told me how important I was to him even after all that time. She said that whenever he would leave to come over he would tell his mom, “Today is the day I’ll kiss her.” But it never happened. We were just amazing friends, and nothing would change it.
Even now, and I’m coming close to the end of my junior year I can’t even think about him without thinking of all those fond memories we had and all the Halloweens we spent together, picking pears for my grandma, spraying each other with the hose, raking the leaves just to jump in them... I can’t do it without feeling a lump swell up in my throat as my eyes just burning.
In the weeks after his death, I had a few vivid dreams of him coming to me and taking my hands to join him in a dance or a long hug. The last time he ever visited me in a dream was after his funeral when I felt at my lowest and he stood infront of me in the kitchen of my grandparents house, he came up to me and gave me a hug I could feel and can still feel to this day.
Then he was gone... but I still think about him every day. And I cried a little making this paragraph probably not even two people will read through 😂😅.

I was happy and felt a warm feeling in my heart of how this friendship is strong but after six doing that to mono quite made me sad but I wasnt mad at her I made a theory why she did it but hopefully thats not it.. I enjoy this it makes me feel comfortable with having a comfort character.

Just a quick reminder that the time Six dropped Mono was the first time she ever saw his face. She saw the boy she was holding over the collapsing Signal Tower was the boy who would become the man they were trying to escape from in the first place, the Thin Man.

so basically lore so far is
(if you wanna treat the second game as a sequel)
very little nightmares starts it all, original girl in the yellow raincoat falls to her death with the pretender, taking out the antagonist of the story and herself, mysterious girl (six) takes the raincoat. Then boarding the raft at the bottom of the cliff.
along the way she meets up with the ferryman out to find another child, mysterious girl (six) is taken on the ferryman boat, tied up and this is where the first little nightmares comic comes in.
She is brought successfully to the maw, then encounters one of the twin chef's shortly before the opening of the 1st game. she escapes through an air vent, meeting up with 5 other children. each child tells their story of what happened to them, then a leach leaps out, swallowing one of the children. They all scramble and six escapes presumably to wake up in a suitcase, starting off the first game.
If you wanna treat the second game as a prequel, than it would go like this.

She escapes him, throwing a rock to distract him and get away. While running from him, she looks up and spots a young boy with a paper bag on his head (Mono). Then hearing a snap behind her, she turns to see the hunter has caught up.
The hunter captures her, bringing her to his shack. A couple days later, mono uses his power to teleport himself somewhere in the wilderness. He looks around, feeling guilty for being the reason six was caught.
(the second game starting now.)
He finds her, the music box aiming him where to go. There are tally marks all around the walls, and he walks up to six. She then runs away like in the game.
At the end of the game, six is saved by mono, but a small part of her memory is taken as well, In her experiences with the thin man in the tower (before mono saved her) She's probably able to see his face and what he looks like, and due to her soul being lost when she was first taken by the thin man.
she is slightly fatigued and a bit of her memory was lost, only being brought back after the events of the second game. at the ending scene of the second game, six is holding up mono with one hand, in his face, she see's the thin man, and in her state of fatigued mind, she doesn't know who Mono is, just that he looks like the person that hurt her. So she drops him.
She runs back to the portal, entering a room with a poster of the maw on it. She transports to the maw, then she encounters one of the twin chef's shortly before the opening of the 1st game. she escapes through an air vent, meeting up with 5 other children. each child tells their story of what happened to them, then a leach leaps out, swallowing one of the children. Six: yes, I had hunger issues and I felt lucky not to become a cannibal and eat you. I had a lot of hunger when I was taken to this water place called the maw.
Mono: the maw?
Six: yes, I escaped from it and I wanted to come back here for you. I’m really sorry mono. Please forgive me
Mono: I WILL NOT FORGIVE YOU, SIX! For you, I can’t be friends with a cannibal
Six: mono please, I have more
Mono: (looks away) go on and say them traitor
Six: I fought this tall spectral geisha called the lady, I obtained her powers and controlled my hunger by eating her neck and killing her.
Mono:😧😧😧killing…..
Six: Mono?
Mono:…..Stay away
Six: what?
Mono: (pushes six away with his transmission powers) I SAID STAY AWAY FROM ME!!
Six:😖😖😖
Mono: NOW I KNOW YOUR TOO TERRIBLE, YOU ARE NOTHING BUT A TRAITOR, NOW NOTHING BUT CANNIBALISTIC
Six: mono listen to me. I control my hunger now
Mono: I DON’T CARE IF YOU CAN CONTROL YOUR HUNGER! I STILL WILL NOT FORGIVE YOU FOR BETRAYING ME CAUSING ME TO BECOME THE THIN MAN (about to punch six)
Six: (stops mono’s punches)
Mono:😠😠😠???
Six: please mono. Here (shows mono his paper bag mask)
Mono:??? (Takes the paper bag mask) my mask?
Six: yeah, I found it floating in the water when I left the maw. I wanted to use it as an apology gift for betraying you. Don’t bother apologizing for what you did against me, cus I’m the sorry one
Mono:😐😐😐😊😊😊in that case, I now forgive you six.
Six and mono: (hug)
Mono: (stuffs his paper bag mask into his pocket) but I will need this mask sometime
(Ground shaking)
Six and mono: (look at the signal tower cracking)
Six: what’s happening to the signal tower?
Mono: I think, without the thin man…..it no longer exists

(Signal tower collapses all the way)
Yeah, so this has officially become the song I listen to when I'm sad. Honestly, that's quite an achievement

This is such a beautiful song when I first heard it, I knew that Mono and Six were going to be fine as long as him and her had each other...Now on repeat playthroughs it fills me with a sadder feeling knowing poor Mono's fate. I understand why Six did it they are kids and Mono just destroyed her precise music box. She probably dropped him in a fit of childish rage. Maybe she felt bad later thinking god no what did I do to my friend. now it just fills me with Sarow, yet I still feel hopeful in a weird way that I can't explain.

The reason six betrays mono is first of all ln1 takes place after ln2 so in ln2 when thinman captures six it leaves behind the good part of her soul which is shadow six or glitch six and since her good soul is gone or complete soul idk but thats why she betrays mono and the reason she eats everything is because she's trying to eat living things to claim their soul and it's why she ate the nome aka runaway kid in the end of the guest area since the sausage isn't alive and she finally claims a soul by eating the lady and once she escapes since shes stranded on the top of the maw she probably becomes the sixth lady so she probably wouldve taken mono with her if she didnt get captured by thinman but also thinman isnt tryna kill mono hes trying to capture him so the timeloop cant continue
