It’s great only if you land in underworld or mt Olympus. Places like Lavish or snooty are just a waste of time now. Not even worth landing there. The vaults don’t even spawn chest every time.

Perseus has many different story’s but the one I know and acted out in a play is where his grandpa puts him and his mother in a chest and throws it into the sea soon they get saved by another king who makes his mother and makes him go to the ends of the earth to kill Medusa the gods bless him with sandals and a helmet of Invis and he beheads Medusa
My rating after playing almost 24 hours on console. I'm not a day one fortnite player. My first time playing was last season. So take this as that. Am I wrong for the rating or how I feel?
Idk how I feel about this season. I played 18hours on Saturday. There's not much to do. I know it's early. But there's only like two places we can truly spawn at. I wish the outside places had something going on. Again I know it's not even a week, but there's something missing for me. The Glacier a dead zone, railroads are ghost zones. The yacht vault is gone which is kind of crazy. The medallions don't feel like a flex anymore. I would like for them to make them a little OP, right now. I can still win with a person with 2 or more. I don't feel like the boogeyman is coming when I see that golden circle coming for me.
But I do love how much gold we are getting. Underworld area is my favorite spot to land at. The boss fights are a little challenging especially when you have camp outs from other players. It's more strategy at least for me it is for this season. Last season I could kill the camp outs and the bosses easily with no real damage. The mythic weapons are cool. I thought we were going to get OP weapons like the ninja turtles one's we had. These feel okay for right now. The bolts are not worth it for me. They are good on surprise attacks. In battle I just kept getting blasted. My favorite gun is the DMR I think it is. The one that is thermal scope and the gatekeeper shotgun or whatever the gun that shoot out three bullets is called. The bunkers are great for gold. I haven't modified my guns yet.
Overall I give it a 6.5 out of 10. It's still new and I would hope that other parts of the map gets some love down the weeks or months. I'm not cracked out over playing it like last season. But that can change. I don't know what fortnite looked like before the medallions we had last season. The areas get old pretty quick after going there 16 times. But there is no real places to go, maybe I'll explore that next weekend.
