I’m gonna try out exactly what you did with your dashboard but I’m gonna use my original dashboard to fix the new one I’m getting so that hopefully it matches the grain absolutely perfectly. Oem dash material should in theory work a lot better than the stamp you tried. Thanks for the brilliant tutorial my friend 👋🏼
Happy to help!! I’ve also been experimenting with SEM texture spray. It’s a bit more expensive at around $30 a can but it can recreate the texture really well.

It was pretty easy if you have the old one to match where the holes go. Took me less than 5 mins to cut it
