I wanted to try swords in a high level content and that at the moment is master nightfall's I feel like they are harder then grandmaster currently because of the light level changes and the drifting apart modifier is horrible I needed a build that had some sort of healing to survive. I've seen other builds on this nightfall but they are usually the same as other content creators so I wanted to approach this differently but with swords and on titan without devour in which my only real healing is from strongholds alone which did in fact give me a challenge to master. I also switched to Mnk for this one because I needed the movement to use swords and controller wasn't doing it for me. I want to see how swords pair up in grandmasters in which it will probably be the same as master. I will be making more interesting builds on this channel so stay tuned!

i find the noises the vex make so cute lol (well except those overload minotaurs i hate them)
overload minotaurs are the bane of my existence.
All I know is I saw somebody running strongholds that's all I needed I like and subscription easy peasy. I've actually been a stronghold main for several years now and I love it I fell in love with it watching videos by SelFu, and i was hooked.
i respect SelFu for the fantastic builds for sword titan such as behemoth lament or crown splitter and void titan he deserves the respect!

Absolutely love the sword usage. Been loving them as of late myself. Curious, though, why do you use Facet of Purpose with Hammer of Sol? Doesn't seem like you're getting much use out've Elemental Charge and your surges, either.
Hammer of sol so i can use harmonic scavenger which is solar so i can get more ammo from bricks for my lament, as for the fragment it’s just there incase I have a orb around which will give me restoration just another source of healing since the only healing i have is stronghold. TLDR hammer of sol is a placeholder super just for mods & fragments. hopefully that makes sense and thank you for watching!

How well do u feel it went? I think they partially nerfed Lament before TFS but I don't remember
It actually went well you kind of feel the nerfs for Lament but it’s not the end of the world but pre nerf lament was so good other then maybe ammo. The artifact mods are honestly what’s saving Lament for me because one of them refunds ammo and lucent blades is amazing too along side overload swords but it’s already anti barrier. It’s still good but not amazing like before.

Do you mind explaining a bit about what do you mean by light lvl changes? Cause I did feel some stuff is harder than they used to be.
Apparently the jist of it is that they made nightfalls negative light according to sources and bungie meaning master nightfall is -20 so if i’m 2010 the nightfall is still 2030 which is almost if not contest mode then you add the ridiculous modifiers on top of that and it’s horrible for solo players. gm nightfalls scale to -25 but with no bs modifiers which is why most people are saying master nightfalls are indeed harder which is something i might agree with. Hopefully that makes sense as bungie patch notes for final shape might explain it better. Thank you for watching!
@@_SkoR the same applies for lost sectors does it? They feel waaayyy harder than before, I don't say you should make em in 2 minutes, but the overloads doing my head in XD 😂

Why the hell is drifting apart still a thing.... AND up constantly when you're going solo?
I think its one of the worst modifiers in the game which limits you to make healing for each build which is wack and yes it’s constantly up in solo play its so annoying
U dont need to wait that much. With the strongold if u perfert guard with ur sword when u take a shot it heal u
It takes time for restoration to proc and the modifier for master nightfalls is apart meaning I cant heal like a normal nightfall and me getting out of guard for even a second to proc restoration is a death sentence against certain enemies that burst you.
@@_SkoR it’s not restoration, it’s an instant heal
@@_SkoR and if u perfect guard it absorb the damage
@@kiritofm4834 that’s old strongholds my friend they don’t do that anymore as bungie reworked them not to long ago. I have to block shots then attack to proc restoration it’s not a instant heal unless your counting lament heal which they nerfed to the ground.

i saw your finisher and i immediately reminded that mine is bugged, i have the new finisher from the bp but instead of playing the correct animation, it plays that default one... so annoying, thag finisher is soooooo cool...

Why prismatic? Isn’t Strand Titan still the better choice for swords. Also what Ergo Sum roll would you think would be good for GMs
Strand titan is indeed most likely better for swords but prismatic is still solid and I wanted to try different options for swords. Ergo sum is most likely a sword i wouldn’t run at all in gms but the roll i like for solo play is the risk runner perk and gjallerhorn perk because you still give wolvepack rounds to yourself even if you don’t have teammates.
How bout for a stronghold build?
@@ArmadisRockI actually used Ergo Sum with strongholds on the Day 1 Salvation on the 2nd boss and it worked wonders!
I'm really leaning nearly all in with an electric, light frame ergo sum with the riskrunner perk, light frame so heavy doesn't take a ton of ammo, then proc shield, get smacked, proc healing then go get other buffs. Might have to 3x consecrate tho...

Bungie tried to nerf Lament but it keeps on trucking
You can feel the nerfs but still very usable!
