3 years ago I said I was going to be in the bass master classic by the time I'm 30. I still have 6 years left. I found your channel yesterday and i have been watching non stop. I am motivated more than ever to conquer my goal after seeing your videos and the fun you guys have. I'll continue to support and forever be motivated.
Scott ,I lived in Moore Haven for a good portion of my childhood.I tried to be your Dad everytime I fished on the lake,like every other kid.I have got a lot of respect for you and him...great fisherman and even more down to earth than the average person.Thanks Scott keep putting in hard work ,you will turn it around soon.

He did very good fishing using his patented "Spinnerworm" that one time. That older man on the boat with him even switched.

Nice Vlog. Glad to hear that you are doing your own tournament videos. We don't get to see to much on the official tournament videos that are done. All that we get to see are a few short blurbs of you (and others) here and there... So, it would be nice to see more of what is going on for you out there and to get to enjoy it even though we aren't out there with you. :) Have Fun and Good Luck!
This is quickly becoming one of my favorite channels ever...
I started out watching jon b and was blessed to have come across your channel. Watching what you and your family stand for is amazing Mr. Martin, thanks for sharing your life work and experiences.
On Travis, the old jitterbug is hard to beat, 2 seconds fast retrieve then pause 7 seconds, give bass time to zero in , then fast to boat. If they miss it, slow it down a tad. A tip for bigger bass on Travis is use the wind to slowly drift to your spot or if you motor in , WAIT six minutes or so, keeping extremely QUIET, then lob out a berkley monster worm let it hit bottom and twitch it on in nice and slow. Sometimes you'll feel them suck it in, other times they will just pull it and go. The secret is either way is, open the bail and feed them line, get your rod in hook setting position, flip the bail closed, no slack and then set it hard and fast. It's the only method I found, that gets me into that eight and over pound range. I spend more time these days fishing for yellow cat, because they taste so darn good.
Enjoy seeing what you go through in preparation for an event. I know it can be a grind at times, but your positive attitude and all around enjoyment of what you do is great to watch! Keep it up!

I have fished for a living in the Keys for 16 yrs and AFTCO shorts are the best hands down of any made. Actual plier pockets that are functional unlike most other brands. Scott is right!!! Its great gear

glad I came across your video of Lake Travis. Thats my home lake where I learned & grew up fishing. Im now living up in Washington State bc Im military. It was nice seeing that lake and I saw some familiar locations on & off that Lake. For example K-oaks, where yalls meeting was held.
