    I have had devouring tutorials every single day in the last 12 years but nothing, NOTHING, compares to the content's quality of your channel.
    Amazing techniques, thoroughly explained in a simple way, procedural effects mastered with the most comfortable confidence by a real professionist who's gifting us life changing advices.
    In plain words: THANK YOU!!

Now you rock with an complete new way of using the Effects. I was trying to create this effect for a long time now and here it is. Thank you.

    @9:25
    Actually, Displace does not need to reference a seperate file. It can reference itself. The way it works is that Displace always references a file's saved state. I keep a copy of the desired displacement map as the top most layer in my comp, usually hidden. Just before running the displace filter, I turn on the top layer and save the project (Command S :). I then turn it back off and apply Displace to my layer of choice. When the filter prompts for a file to use, select the file you currently are working on. Is that clear? One upside to this technique is that you get a good visual on how your map aligns with the layer being displaced. Not at all the same guessing game as when referencing an external file.

Definitely deserves more views, your page is like a hidden gem in a sea of lackluster photoshop tutorials, your stuff is the best! Keep it up, I cant wait to see what the next thing I'll learn will be. Also, huge thanks for providing those high resolution textures, they're a godsend. I'll likely be making my wedding invitations using many of the tips I've learned from you.

    Ya.!!! I get to be #90. @texturelabs. I really appreciate how you show us how to build up the styles using the different folders and layer styles. Your methodology and fast pass is fantastic. I have come to recognize that I should have started with this tutorial 1st. Of course each tutorial stands on it's own. However, each tutorial is an extension of a previous tutorial. I like how you have made a point of connecting different tutorials with each other.

    I have an issue with text in my Photoshop.. everytime I add dropshadows or anything at an angle and depth that leaves the format lines of the text, they are simply cut off. I guess rasterizing the text beforehand would do the trick (haven't tried) but I'd like to be able to fix this on live text.
    Anyone else with same issue?
