God I sit here enjoying this with tears of joy in my eyes, while the crowd is barely responding during this performance. My countdown: 196 days until I see Wheel live! Can't fucking wait!
“You’re wearing me down we’re facing the end of another one” I’d have been losing my shit and hurting my neck with these riffs! WOW. It’s like the crowd has NO clue what’s in front of them 🙄🤦🏻♂️
@@emptycloud2774 - Definitely! So much growth on this record. They are taking chances, opening new doors creatively, and it’s paying off. 💪 Whatever you do make sure to Keep it Wheel!! 😄
Heyo! Small note for the chapters, at 28:09 they transitioned from Movement into Vultures. Besides that, great video! Cant wait to see them later this month
Unfortunately the sound guy decided that panning the guitars mostly hard left and right was a good idea (spoiler: it's never a good idea). So in practice there is a lot more lead guitar where I was standing and barely any rhythm guitar in the mix. Apparently the tour manager did sound for Wheel that night. What a monkey.
I was standing with my brother in front of the sound booth, the guitar panning was awesome from there. But you are unfortunately right that it doesn't translate well for the whole audience.
@@danielwade1978 I was actually going to ask who the headliner was. I noticed that Wheel's drummer is off to the side and the headliner's kit in centre stage. Man what a show that would have been. Love Caligula's Horse. Since Forrester Savell did sound for both bands ... epic sound.
So... bro... that song was unreleased at the time of this concert. It's now up on Spotify... but it's completely fair to say they had never heard it before.
@@memecode - It’s not just the first song. It’s the entire set dude. The difference with the crowd in Sydney and those in the states have been drastically different.

Wish you and I were in that crowd. We’d have livened it up real quick! 😉
Seeing this set makes them cancelliing at the last minute in Melbourne all the more devastating!
Yeaaaaaa

I was so sad when they pulled out in Melbourne, been following 6 years, such a good band.
@@emptycloud2774 - Sorry to hear that dude
@@danielwade1978 as long as the band keeps growing, it's all good. I am so impressed by the new record.

Thanks, I've fixed it up. 👍

what a fucking tool 🤣
Thanks for the concert! I was gutted to miss it (even if holidays with family are amazing). Would have been amazing to be there.
What is the title of the song at 39:40 minutes? Thanks
Song is also called Wheel 🤘🏼
Thanks!
I’m shocked they only played for 47 minutes since they’re the headline. Like WTH?
Nevermind. I see Caligula’s Horse was the headliner.

MemeCode- Thank you for this! 🫵🤘
6:11 the crowd thinks the song is over and cheers. 😬 This day and age with streaming services how can they not know this stuff? 😆😂

@@memecode - I mean did a general admission ticket come with a prescription of Valium?
