- When the enemy has their sights set on Amuro, its time for him to get his long awaited upgrade and show them the true power of the White Devil. Having Char defeat Kia will net one Kia point and having Char and Amuro shoot down at least 5 enemies total on this stage will unlock a secret stage later.

Ahh the glorious stage where I abused Ex-actions on Amuro and had him shoot down like 4 of the bosses himself in 1 turn to show off the Hi-Nu. Nearly forgot to let Char have some fun and shoot down some enemies.
When *Beecha* of all people says "Dude what the hell" about the Cross Ange girls defecting, it means that's some seriously stupid shit.
This is the same guy who defected to Axis alongside Mondo because they were jealous of Judau (And something about Roux and Bright being sticks in the mud) and then defected *back* to AEUG because they were unhappy about how the Axis soldiers were treating them.
Yeah, when Beecha's willing to call them out on their decisions for defecting, they're pretty stupid reasons.

Hi nu last attack kinda meh compared to nu last attack. Its not the budget, u should blame the source material for those 2 attack only reconquista unit
Not the amount of attacks, but their animations... Like look at the G-Arcane and compare it to something like the Gundam Mk. 2 or Hyaku Shiki...

Eeeyep, the first sequences confirms that the BC and Wing guys should have stayed with Wataru and the Supers in the Land Route. They already have the makings of a good crossover camaraderie that would have prospered if not for the dratted route split.

Char needs his major upgrade still. Once that happens, Embryo and Gargoyle are in for it. Mu ha ha ha ha!
You know... I really dig the story for touching up on the fact that, compared to Char, Amuro really does get overlooked an awful lot in the UC era despite his amazing well-honed skills in battle. And damn, the Hi-Nu really got the bulk of the animation budget! Detailed and slick as all heck, and looks just as good in a fight. Neat stage all around.
The Nu Gundam has one of the weirdest instances of locking a final attack behind a specific Pilot. Despite the Hi Nu clearly being meant to be a straight upgrade for Amuro, it's legit more efficient to keep him in the original Nu and give another high level Newtype the Hi Nu. I actually missed the next Secret Scenario on my first run and ended up giving the Hi Nu to Char of all people.

To be honest I thought the introduction of the Hi-Nu would be much more dramatic like Nu being destroyed only for it to be upgraded into the Hi-Nu a couple stages later with much fanfare.

I have to say that Kia's Gundam looks a lot like the Baal from IBO (or is it the other way around). Either way once we have Hi Nu as well as a certain other suit then it safe to say that Misurugi is going down.

Well, having aces from the Titans, Neo Zeon, the Capital Army, Towasanga, and the G-IT Corps (actually, I know Kia's a commander, but is he an ace?) gunning for Amuro is certainly one way to showcase the Hi-Nu Gundam. Though I think it would've been a bit more compelling if the Nu Gundam was severely damaged because they all ganged up on it.
P.S. If I remember correctly, Klim and Kia never met in the source material, so it's interesting to see them as rival-of-sorts.

I do hope Char says something like "Mobile Armors aren't really my style but whatever". Man did say he hated them after the Zeong thing, but he still got into something that's basically the child of an Alpha Azieru and his Sazabi!
There was a game on the Wii called Arc Rise Fantasia that had the same character designer as Eureka Seven and G-Reco.
