What a wonderful explanation, Theodora. Nothing sadder for a linguist than a dead pidgin. I wasn't aware it could become creole.

Papua New Guinean Pidgin is unique in the World! ❤💕❤Its called Tok Pisin. Its a Creole Language, mostly English structured, but is also made up of Austronesian Languages, Malay from indonesia, as well as a good blend of Portuguese, Dutch and German from colonial times in the 1600s,1700s,1800s and early 1900s. I love PNG Tok Pisin!💖💖👍
