Wolverine's skeleton is indestructible. He has been killed by a sentinel robot before and all that was left was his skeleton. His skeleton should have still been there.
Maybe it's because the beam was hot enough to melt even adamantium.

Bruh I had almost all those exact action figures when I was a kid. Beast, Cyclops, Colossus, that Wolverine but also yellow and blue one, Nightcrawler, and I had a white outfit storm. Also had that sentinel. It was from Marvel legends IIRC. I miss those things so much :L my uncle sold all my marvel figures.
