- Former US House of Representatives Speaker Nancy Pelosi snapped at an MSNBC host during an interview on Monday.
During Pelosi's interview with MSNBC anchor Katy Tur, they discussed the job losses under former US president Donald Trump.
Pelosi praised US President Joe Biden before blaming Trump for the millions of Americans who lost jobs during the COVID-19 pandemic.
The former house speaker was then reminded by Tur the job losses under Trump’s presidency came during a “global pandemic”.
Following Tur’s comment, Pelosi snapped at the MSNBC host and labelled her a Trump “apologist”.
“He had the worst record of any president. We’ve had other concerns in our country. If you want to be an apologist for Donald Trump, that may be your role, but it ain’t mine,” Pelosi said.
