It's amazing to watch😂 Little background information they never confirmed it, but there are a lot of rumors that Harry and Louis were together at one point (Larry💙💚 just to make the comments less confusing for you😅) but weren't allowed to say, so yeah....

This is not the actual music video for No Control, that's why they look young. There was never a music video for No Control, this was just a fan made video and these clips are from early 2013 whereas, No Control is from their fourth album which is called Four which came out in 2014. They looked much older when No Control came out and they also sounded more mature then. I wish you had just reacted to the lyric video of No Control cause I feel as if this fan made video distracted you from the song a bit, but oh well, it's alright.

"No Control" was written by Louis and Liam, with Louis contributing most of the lyrics. It's from their fourth album, "Four". Harry's not the oldest... he's the youngest: When the band was formed on July 23, 2010 Harry was 16, Niall, Liam and Zayn were 17, and Louis was 18. In the UK the drinking age is 18. The music video is actually a composite of clips from other 1D MV's. Take a look at James Corden's talk show where he asks about the lyrics... funny, and gives you a hint of who it's about.

There’s definitely a difference between their last album and all the others. One of those things might be that they actually had a lot more time to write the last album while the others were written sporadically while on tour etc. With the last album the took off a whole month or two of time just to sit back and write write write ✍️

The song is from their fourth album 'Four' and the video is a mix of 'Take me home' tour opening video (their second album) and the last bit is the 'midnight memories' music video which is a single in their third album 'Midnight memories'. That's why they look young. No control was not a single but it was a fan favourite so directioners organized this project called the 'project no control', streamed it and asked radio stations to play this.

1D MVs are great but nothing beats their live performances. Also, James Corden reads the lyrics to this song to the boys, on one of his show, and it is hilarious. Plus the 1D carpool karaoke features this song as well as others.
That's what we said about being able to tell their development if you go backwards through their albums. ^^ There'll be a lot more of that as you go to older stuff. At some point, you should really, really have a look at the live versions they did on various occasions in 2015. There's some great, GREAT stuff there, like the Apple Music Festival, The Ellen Show, BBC Live Lounge, Summertime Ball or X Factor Finals 2015 (the last thing they did together as a band). Very much recommend so you'll be able to see what they can do live.

You’re right it’s a Young and Reckless kind of song but not the bubbelgum pop they had in the beginning, this is pop but with a rockier sound, and more ”mature” lyrics. Louis for sure was prominent in the chorus. It’s why so many fans wanted it as a single I think. Partly anyway. Some of us simply wanted Louis to be heard!

This was an old video they used to play during their concert on tour, for some reason a fan used it for no control. They also put part of the "Midnight Memories" music video at the end. As everyone said below there never was a music video. This song was a fan favorite, so we (the fans) did a fan release and got it played on the A list on many radio stations. They literally put packages together with presents etc to the DJs. This song was from "Four", the 4th album right before "Made In The AM".

The Midnight Memories album is where their sound started to change from the pure pop that everyone expects when they think of 1D. I'd say midnight memories is the transition album , it's where you start to see more writing credits from the boys themselves , its got some bangers (Thank you Tommo) but it's more of a pop rock album if that makes sense. Its what they built on to get to where they were musically with Four and then Made in the AM. I love the midnight memories Era it's was so much fun but if you can, definitely react to no control live or any of their other songs live .they are so good live and people don't give them enough credit for it.
