👉🏻 Kennesaw is a city in Georgia that is northwest of Atlanta. The Southern Museum of Civil War and Locomotive History has a steam locomotive and weapons on display. Kennesaw Mountain National Battlefield Park is to the southeast. It has trails and monuments from the Civil War. There are playgrounds and a skate park at Swift-Cantrell Park. In the northwest, Red Top Mountain State Park sticks out into Lake Allatoona. It is forested and has a beach and trails.

My family and I moved to Actworth GA 18 years ago. Kids went to Ford, Durham and Harrison, great schools. I work in Kennesaw and we love it here. My only concern is the growth, since 2005 we have seem a lot on construction and too trees coming down.
My wife lived in Acworth for 20 year (Bentwater Subdivsion) and she also owns a Nutrition store there on Cobb Parkway for the same amount of time. We live in Ksaw now near the mountain and unfortunately, there's no way to avoid the incoming growth. It's everywhere. New businesses, senior living communities, apartments, etc...Its definitely booming and Acworth is right behind it! lol. What's your favorite restaurant in the area? Do you ever visit Ksaw mountain?
