The 900 is pretty fast, it will do 70 mph, 0 to 40 mph in 4 seconds. The 1000 does 80 mph at 6000.00 more price tag. Do the math and consider where you ride, can you really open it up that fast, I can't? I chose to go with the 900 and save 6000.00. If I ever wanted more power, I could put a Turbo into the 900 and still be faster and cheaper than the 1000 at 3000.00 upgrade. There's a video on youtube, rzr 900 turbo vs 1000.
Seems like a great family oriented activity.......if there places that legally allowed Sxs's. Im sure polaris sponsored the vid to make it seem like a great marketing idea. However every state park, campground, in our tri state area we go to these are outlawed and not allowed. You spend 15-20 grand on these only to find nowhere to use them. Polaris and other manufacturers should lobby to get these legal and actually usable.

I have a club car XRT 1550..... max speed 25mph. One day I'll get a faster one. till then I will just drool over this stuff lol
