Thank you for this, I have been looking for a Bryar Motorsports Park Trans AM video for years, there was none out there. This is a gem indeed.
Gutta love 8 MM. This one even has color. Sweet. Being a Poncho fan, it was serene to see Jerry Titus in his trans Am. Not long before he perished after Road America. RIP Jerry. Always loved Trans Am racing. Wish there were more movies like this from that era. But like mentioned, would be nice if some-one put some sound to it. With at least some nostalgic commentary. Thanks for posting this one.
Thanks to Peg & Ralph & Chris Gilman we have this fantastic footage of the glory days of Trans-Am.
So cool to see this footage! I'm researching the Barracuda seen around 1:26 driven by Jerry Robinson. Glad you have posted this here, a previous video that contained Lime Rock Trans Am racing footage in 1970 was removed from youtube.
TA cars super Cars in 69 and 70 but the best in 1970 love the yellow mustangs !!! thanks for puting this up !!!
Race #2 was won by Jones' Mustang with Leslie's Camaro 2nd and Posey's Challenger 3rd. It was a big setback to Penske's Javelins when both cars did not finish the race.
priceless film ,, i'm glad someone saved it ,
Great footage!
Always liked the Sam Posey Dodge Challenger, But they always had Engine Problems and this video shows it.
This was the era! Pity it only lasted a few years, but they were great ones!
Awesome- thanks for sharing!
Fantastic stuff! Thanks for posting it!
At Lime Rock I'm on the hill across the track with my dad.
I was there too Clark! Wearing my red, white and blue nylon AMC racing jacket. There with my 69 390 Javelin! Loved it!
Be awesome with some sounds!
Where is Bud Lindemman when you need him?.
