Xhosa is such a fascinating and beautiful language. I'm Nigerian and I just love learning about languages outside of my culture.❤
I agree, Xhosa seems like a very sacred and beautiful language, while as my germanic ancestors had guttural languages
I moved from Cape Town nine years ago now; I miss Xhosa terribly and hearing it again makes me so happy
I'm a linguistics major, and I've always been so amazed by Xhosa. It's such a beautiful language with very different phonetics compared ro English. A wonderful language to study! I did a project on Xhosa once. Love it❤
Thank you for this. I love the repeated slow pronunciation and the fact that you included how to spell words on screen! Please do more of this xhosa language learning vids! 💖💖💖💖

@@africanxhosaasmr Ah gotcha, didn't catch that 🤐I always watch your videos multiple times tho! 💖
Super interesting phonetics, I could listen to this forever. As someone who is crazy about languages, I find this kind of ASMR very intriguing. Thank you :)
I second this comment! However I would love another video with like a much smaller amount of vocab and slowed waaaay down. Like each time you give a new vocab word, pronounce each syllable one at a time a few times, then give a moment for us to repeat. Then say the whole word. And then the same for the next word in the phrase, then the whole phrase. and like that. So we can retain more! ❤
You're telling me i get to enjoy Asmr with my home language now? 🥺 I'm definitely hitting that sub button sis!
South African here and you have made us proud. Well done hun on a wonderful channel 🤗
Duolingo could never, I've learned way more from this video than anything I've ever actively attempted to learn in my life and it's super relaxing and interesting yet still engaging and it's perfect auughh
Xhosa is such a beautiful language - thank you so much for sharing it with us ❤🙌
Thank you for another wonderful language learning video, this type of ASMR is definitely my personal favourite, and you are so good at it! :) Cheers from London! EDIT: And the text on screen is SO HELPFUL, thank you so much for that!!! :D
You're so effortlessly good at ASMR ma ❤. Also I'm Xhosa but I found this very interesting 😂 I miss your fast amsr sisi 🥺
I'm having an IV (intravenous) medication treatment today, it takes 3 hours and I put you on right away, your soothing whispering is helping soothe my anxiety. Thanks so much, you are so beautiful and help me cope in times like these. ❤
I am so sorry for what you are going through & I pray that you get well soon. Sending you lots of hugs and kisses. 😘 🫶🏾
are you well again? this type of treatment is done at an illness i dont want to pronounce, so it got me worried
As someone Who loves asmr and to learn Languages this is a gem✨💓 Xhosa sounds beautiful
So so sooo beautiful language! I love the words that are pronounced with a little “click” sound, it always sounds beautiful and fun to hear 🧡🧡🧡🧡
I’m mixed senegalese and french and I’ve always been interested and fascinated by Africa and its many beautiful people, xhosa is such a beautiful language and I hope I can go to South Africa one day!!
Hey beautiful 💜
I think Xhosa is such a beautiful language and developed an interest in learning it.
Thank you so much for taking time to teach us. I truly appreciate it 🫶🏽☺️
Thank you so much for taking the time to repeat the pronunciations and add the captions with spelling!!! I’ve been seeing more Xhosa-related context across all of my social media platforms, and I’ve been learning so much more than I ever could’ve dreamed!! Not only did I get to learn something tonight, I got relaxed by an angel as well:) Enkosi!!!❤❤
This is such a beautiful language. I'll think I'll save this video and use it to teach myself Xhosa

Finally!! A South African ASMRist❤😩❤️✨ I've been seeking for them and I really enjoyed this vid, although I know Xhosa, this was still relaxing.😌
Immediately relaxed - your energy and language are beautiful and brings such stress relief!
It's too interesting to fall asleep to this. I have to come back a few (or a lot of) times to finish this 😅
Your language is especially tingly and pleasant
17:49 Ma'am you look extra beautiful in this today's video. I love your lipstick color
Another stellar educational asmr video from you! Awesome job! 👏
South African ASMR, how great!
Ohh wow,❤❤❤,so relaxing. I never imagined the Xhosa language could make me feel this was.
I love languages and study them 2 hours a day. Really interested in both relaxing and learning. Thanks for this video!
You explain super fine. Still I find the language grammatically hard for me. On the other hand, the pronunciation sounds very easy to me (I'm Argentinian) and also beautiful 😊
I find it so interesting learning about new languages and how they are spoken I think it’s just so tingly to hear things you wouldn’t expect
this was super pleasant to listen to and even more pleasant hearing a new language for me!!
This is just supremely restful! ❤
Lipstick is beautifully done! Perfect shade of red!!
Xhosa is such a beautiful language, not necessarily because of how it sounds (although it does sound very beautiful) but because it's such an earthy-sounding language. Kind of like if the Earth could speak, its language would be Xhosa.
I truly loved this!
Amazing! Please don't let this language die.
An interesting language 😌 But I couldn't help but giggle at the greeting, in my language Finnish, "molo" is a word for male privates 😅
add to bucket list - travel with a xhosa friend to finland and spend our entire time there greeting each other 😭😭
Your language is so beautiful. Love from Brasil ❤
I like that this language gas a plural form of greeting.
the tingles i got, wow!!❤️
So beautiful! Everything about this video.
Education is magnetic. The language of South Africa (the Afrikaans) is interesting. That's the first time for me hearing it.
I keep trying to watch this to learn , but i fall asleep 😭
This is so wonderfully pleasant
great video! now we can unconsciously learn xhosa too, while we sleep! thank u ~
Your language is SO beautiful
amazin video thank you!!
This is such a gorgeous language. So many languages sound so incredibly musical, so being a musician/vocalist myself, I have a huge love and affinity for languages from around the world. Xhosa is so unique and special, though! I deeply apologize if my word usage is offensive, I've just no other words to describe the sounds, but the tongue clicks/pops remind me of percussion instruments. Xhosa is a language that is musical in the sense that it's the ENTIRE orchestra, not just woodwinds and strings. The harder sounds throughout the words and sentences bring in that missing element that I find myself wishing for in so many other languages. Thank you for sharing this with all of us.
I love seeing my South African people on my feed🇿🇦❤️
Such a beautiful language!
Hello/Molo! The words for yes and no are very similar to those in Turkish! They're "evet" and "hayır" in Turkish. Great vid!
This’s so beautiful!
Loved it ❤😊
What a beautiful language! Greetings from Latin America 😊
I have learnt something today ❤
Could you do more visuals in our videos? The visuals that you already do are really good and I need more!!😩😩

Even her eyes are Asmr-rizing
How they gently close in-between her words..
Amazing video 💓
Takk!
This is so dope as a South African
So nice 💜
This is so cool
I love languages so much, and tingles everywhere, and coming from Nefertiti and Mooncottage, insta sub!
African languages are so cool wow
It sounds so beautiful and entirely different from any language I know but that also makes it incredibly difficult to learn. With french and english I didn't have such a hard time because european languages have a lot in common, at least compared to non european languages. And this is just an entirely New type of language :'D but thank you so much for teaching it!
You deserve more views
im half asleep not looking at the screen and some of these words sound like they share roots with latin. its funny what the brain tries to relate
xhosa sounds lovely and what little bits of grammar patterns i imagine picking up are fascinating
Thank you! I had requested this video 😊. I am truly appreciative. LOVE Xhosa so much, and how you teach us in ASMR format.
Omg siss!!🥺🔥❤️

This is going to end up like any other lesson I've been in, damn it and here I was wanting to learn 😔
*Proceeds to sleep*
many channels have a paypal option. i was thinkin before many times , that i would prefer paypaling you instead of yt membership. but iam not informed on the details of it all. membership might be less complicated because taxes are already deducted or something. but i think you´d be surprised of the amount of support financially a paypal option would bring.
you are so pretty :D
💙
More!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
what if you're NOT good/okay? what do you say if someone asks how you are?
❤❤❤❤
As a coloured from Joburg, I need to know if this is understood across the country or is it region specific?? 😭😭
You're absolutely gorgeous 😍 💖
To anyone watching this please don't give up we will get there
I wish I could speak every language in the world fluently! So many beautiful languages and cultures.
