I love the drone😊
What I learned the hard way after purchasing the Snaptain SP7100 is if your battery starts giving you problems, or you just want a spare battery for flying more, they're NOT available separately from Snaptain, as I just found out from their customer support. Basically, if your only battery(they only come with one with the drone) degrades or you just want a spare for flying, no such thing as buying one separately. I became suspicious when I couldn't locate a battery on Amazon or Ebay or for that matter, ANY online retailer. My recommendation is look into replacement batteries or parts from the manufacturers before you spend your money.
Unless the drone comes with a smart battery that will discharge to storage voltage then the battery will indeed go bad over time. This is the case with all lipos. I'm not surprised the batteries are difficult to find. I never released a flight review of this drone because I was told by Snaptain to hold off because they weren't going to release it

Except that you can't actually buy this drone unless things have changed. It has so many problems that Snaptain pulled the listings. This is why I never filmed a flight review. There were much better drones at this price.

@@armandoguzman8945 yeah I know they also sell on Wal-Mart but this drone had so.many problems they had pulled the listing. It makes zero sense to buy this drone then you can get s used DJI Mini for a similar price and the mini is 100x better. Also be aware that Snaptain was banned from Amazon for leaving fake reviews on their Amazon listings. I know this because they were stealing my videos and using them in fake reviews.

Yep, they just need to at stabilization. The move went well. Just have a ton of boxes to put on shelves still but at least the hard work is all behind us.

Hey Ryan, Hope your well .. I was so surprised to see you in CDH !! It was good though. Great video and review but not sure about the drone. For the same price you can get a SSRJ X12 with a 3 axial gimbal. Huge range. Good drone.. But again always enjoy your videos. take care mate.
Thanks Rob and yeah it is overpriced and from what I hear it has tons is problems. So many that Snaptain asked me now to not do a flight review until they can fix the problems. I used to visit CDH all the time on the early days but just haven't had the time during the move. Roger and Kim and great guys.

Sp 710 to a different phone? The Wi-Fi doesn't show on other phones so I would like to know how to get it connected or visible to a next phone
As far as I know this drone was never actually released? If the Wi-Fi doesn't show up in your phone then it is possible you have an older phone or an inexpensive phone that doesn't support 5g Wi-Fi (80211.ac).
Which one would you prefer this one or the sp500?

Did this ever get a flight review? Or did the issues with it ever get solved?
I was told by Snaptain not to do a flight review because the drone had issues so it wasn't available to purchase. I don't know if they ever got the issues resolved. They never gave me the green light to do a flight review so I gave it away.

@@sierraridgereaper well if you were able to buy it then they must have gotten the issues resolved. Snaptain was kicked off Amazon for leaving fake reviews. Unfortunately this is a common practice among many Chinese sellers. They used to take clips of my reviews and post the video in the product's records as someone else giving the drone 5 stars. Lol. They mostly sell on Aliexpress now so I no longer get samples from them to review since Amazon booted them off.
@@RDsRCReviews wow, thats crazy... Im guessing this one has to use the app. I tried to take it out and do a quick test flight but props wont start even after all setup and calibration and gps lock. You must have to unlock from the app or something..that sucks if thats the case...
