Remember the Michael Strahan/Brett Favre record breaking sack controversy? Turns out, that was not the only noteworthy controversy from this game. In a 2001 NFL week 17 game between the Green Bay Packers and the New York Giants, the Giants were only down by nine points with three minutes left, and they had all of their timeouts available. However, for some reason, Giants head coach Jim Fassel opted to surrender and wave the white flag, conceding the game to the Packers.
