In this video, Swami Mukundananda answers a common question regarding relationships - Is there such a thing as a Soulmate? When we think deeply, the soul is eternal, so our soulmate should also be eternal and everlasting. There would be no disagreements between eternal soulmates. Going by these criteria, God alone is our eternal soulmate. The Worldly relationships are all under the influence of the three modes of material nature - the mode of Goodness, Passion and, Ignorance. Depending on which mode dominates in a person, there will also be conflicts in such relationships. The Worldly relationships are all temporary.
Therefore while being in worldly relationships, we should be in the complete consciousness that God alone is our eternal soulmate and the spouse or husband in the world will be our companion in this journey we are undertaking towards reaching the ultimate goal, which is to attain God.

Good befitting reply on a shallow level. But every soul has numerous soul mates. Family members, employers, employees, pets, friends, every person we meet and perform karma has connections from past lives and will build karma for future lives.
That a husband and wife relationship is for 7 lives is actually karma built over 7 births to be manifested into marriage in current life. Doesn't mean the same ppl will wed next 7 lives unless they both chose to be so.
Soulmate concept is too deep and not everyone can understand and tune it for betterment. Hence for a safe and short answer we are told god is ultimate soulmate, which is again True.
All our souls have been split from god's own energy and together we all souls will merge back only into him 🌺

Accepting God as a soulmate is a practical solution. What to do, some people definitely have understanding and affectionate partners. Some people's lives are miserable when they have to put up with indifferent and troublesome people. It is not possible to run away either. In these situations, it is best to have a friend circle, career oriented friends, relatives circle etc. Any person in this group will also have selfish interests as Swamiji says but relationships do help when we set boundaries and we are not committed. However only God understands us .

Don't know about soulmate but I've been put hand in hand with my Twinflame it was divine mothers order for us to be together in this life time too as my past life husband died in a tradgedy and because of that i went mental. We are both in karmic relationships with children. All that ended when through divines order we met halfway across the world He came just for me & is trapped in a female body also is an awakened being & has come to awaken me.
