hi, in 2016 we bought a piece of land 100sqm for 550,000php. The same lots next to our house are now on the market for 1.3 million !!! Construction materials are also now much more expensive.

Yep. We spent a total of 3mil for our 2 story house and lot. A simple ground floor typical style Filipino house (everything half the size) is going for the same price. It will get to the point where no-one can afford to buy a lot and build a house unless you are very well off. Typical Filipino monthly salary here is 12-15k and Americans are spending 100k a month !!!!

you say your close to Naga, how close are you to Ocampo? We plan to be there in July.
The distance between Naga and Ocampo is 29 km. takes about 30 minutes.

Where was that ? Sounds like a deal. Have been hesitating to buy my wife's grandpas land for sale in Siquijor. Not entirely sure if it's worth the trouble as I don't have any short term plan to relocate or the Philippines
