Using mods can be controversial in any game, but Refined Power is so great it is hard to argue against it. What is hard though, is figuring out how to use the modular power generator setup. This video details how to use every module from the early game and we build a superior coal burning facility to generate 4800MW.
As always I champion the idea of go slow, learn a lot. Don't kick yourself if you feel like you are not getting the hang of it. Instead come hang out in the Discord and we can help each other improve!

The more I play it the better Satisfactory gets! It is truly one of the best beginner friendly factory games out there. It is really fun to make a guide in this game and I am thinking that in the future I could make quick tutorials in Shorts form as well. We will see how well this series goes first!
I am an avid gamer who loves all kinds of games but there is a special place in my heart for factory, logistics and management games. I want to share that love with the world and other fans of the genres!

I appreciate your effort in making a video, I would appreciate it more if you scripted what you would say so that it's easier to keep the viewer's attention. I hope this helps.

Great feedback! I will probably script more and structure the videos more once I have a properly settled routine for making videos in the first place

@@jackblade281 I find (from teaching experience) that sometimes it is more effective to script/plan my lectures and then adjust them than it is to wait for a routine to naturally settle in as that would be dictated by circumstance. I have to constantly maintain/manage my students' attention while keeping in mind the effects of my actions on their attention span.

@@Souloid I am aware of the same thing, but that is not my primary "product".
My primary product is recording and editing videos, something that I have no routine or expertise within. I also have ADHD and a job and real life stuff to deal with, all of which makes it harder to make 2 videos per week.
This is a video that is shorter for me to record and edit, it takes around 6-7 hours. The Beginners Guide takes around 20-30 hours per episode. Scripting or just plain structuring my talking points and rhetorical techniques and pacing, has to be intermingled with me thinking of camera angles, how I move, am I moving my mouse too fast, tons of extra details I have never had to care about as a trainer/teacher.
I am sharpening new skills and once I have them, I will start finding the bes tways for me to combine them with existing ones to make better content, that is always the goal 😇

@@Souloid Hey, you are already helping by engaging with the content! Any criticism gives me a opportunity to get better as well. And even better, hopefully someone else reads this comment thread and learns from our conversation as well!
My biggest focus right now is literally just getting to the point where recording and editing does not take 90% of my energy and focus in the process, the point where I can refine the actual content and how I present it as well. But I have to pace myself, so I am my own worst enemy, and I have to just be patient with myself.
Good news is I can feel myself getting better and better, slowly getting closer to where I wont drop any other balls i have in the air by adding a step into my planning process 😆

fun mod, definitely gonna try it when 1.0 finally drops. Certainly better than vanilla, but still not as good as in Captain of Industry

Might help to put Mod somewhere in the title. I thought this was a vanilla video cuz the thumbnail is from so far out.

Ah, my bad, I made the assumption that because I put the mods name first in the title, people who click would know what it meant, I can try to change it, but it might change the videos performance on YT, and if it does I have to change it back.

Me netiher! YT claims the algorithm shows the videos to those they think would find it interesting.
Do you play Satisfactory or anything like that?
