I tried the homemade recipe and it was not what I would recommend. I bought a gallon of Best press and misting bottles and I am very happy.

Not necessarily. There are some that leave a semi permanent residue that takes several washes to get out. Think like Terial Magic….it typically does not come out in one wash.
