CHC, I just picked up our RTL-E today and although we were very fortunate in that my salesman was really pretty savvy on the setup, he was surprised that you could pull the internet into the vehicle. I sent him your video....most appreciated.
I think a large audience for the Ridgeline is the "older" crowd (we're 70)....and this crowd has lots of their music on CD's from over the years. Maybe you could do a video on recommending a portable player and how to get it up and running thru the truck. I know it would be most appreciated without having to download each CD to a stick......

You did a GREAT job with this review. I learned a lot and I am sold on it. Too bad your co workers don’t take this review as seriously as WE do. They have time to act like fools but no time to help promote your new models. Your sir did great. I am trading in my sierra denali ultimate for the 2023 ridgeline. I grew tired of the parking issues with these huge trucks.one thing no one mentions in reviews of Ridgeline is the HEATED wiper zone. Living in PA it’s a big deal to me.

Great tips and tricks - I think this is a great vehicle. Most owners I talk to love it. My only issue is the drivers speedo screen - looks like it’s out of the 90’s. The entire screen setup should be improved / modernized.
The driver's interface does need a little up, and you're right about the loyal customers.

Tailgate locks w/doors?!! Hum.... when I had my 19 Sport I had to buy the lockable (w/key) TG handle assembly.

Your video was very informative. I have a 2023 Ridgeline Black Edition and the info screen is totally different than my 2019 Passport. There are 5 blank home screens, but I have no clue how to add an app to these screens, ex. Sirius XM. Any suggestions?

Congratulations on your new Honda Ridgeline. I had the opportunity to play around more with installing apps onto the black segments on the touchscreen. Im guessing it could be done with flash drives and internet explorer on the touchscreen if unlocked. There has to be something online showing how and which apps are compatible. I believe you can use Spotify and Google Maps while connect to Apple Car Play and Android Auto. I'll put this video on my list to do. Thanks for watching

Low Speed Follow is not included on the Honda Ridgeline's ACC. Glad that you have asked.

No there's not a setting to adjust the colors

If you have a photo on your phone you want to use for wallpaper can you plug your phone in instead of a flash drive? When I imported a photo from the flashdrive it did not take up the entire screen the way yours did. Is there a way to adjust the screen to get full coverage on an uploaded pic?
The size format of the photo matter. I believe the photo was a 16:9.
when you set the walkaway mode will the doors lock automatically if you left the fob inside the car?
no, the walk away auto lock only engage (lock the doors) when there's no key/fob inside the vehicle

What do I do to make the radio screen show up when I start the car like my 2020 civic used to. I get the screen to select the source not the radio screen
There may be a setting under general settings
Great question. Turning the radio on is a process. It shows a volume level on screen that blocks 25 % of the screen. Insane. What do I need to SEE the volume level when I can hear it. It’s another distraction on screen as you are trying to drive. You cannot blindly use the radio. You MUST see it to use. Taking your eyes off the road. No radio buttons to feel. Just a touch screen you have to look at. It won’t allow you to use the gps while driving cause it’s distraction. But it allows it allows you to do same to use radio ??? INSANE.
Has the infotainment system been updated/upgraded from 2020 to 2023? I have a 2020 Sport Ridgeline and the “buggy” and slow infotainment system is the main thing holding me back from going with another Ridgeline.

The infotainment system is not that good. However it is reliable as is the rest of the truck.
How do you turn off the beeps when you lock and unlock the doors? I find those very annoying especially in the early morning or late in the evening, don’t want to disturb my neighbors. Just got my Ridgeline this week, really like it, but very much dislike the beeps.

The auto lock is cool except I walk away in the garage and it locks. I forget something in the vehicle and find it locked in the garage. I have to go back in the house to find me key and come back out. Easier for me to lock the doors when I get out. If I kept the vehicle on the street only it would be handy.

When I turn 22 Ridgeline off how do I keep the radio on
Some models do and don't keep the radio on. I haven't seen a setting to adjust or know why that is.
Can you turn off the headlights so they aren't on during the day?
The daytime running lights are on while the vehicle is in motion. There is no way to turn that off.
Can you get the rear camera to beep when you get to close to something
It sounds like you are asking about rear parking sensors which are standard on the RTL-E and Black Edition trims.

2023 black edition, went through all that and it locked once, now it won’t lock at all and it’s enabled. Also remote start is finicky . It started once now nothing. 100 miles on it 🤷🏼♂️
Remote start won't enable if a fob is in the vehicle. Also could be use twice in a row without fully starting the vehicle.

I haven't attempted getting into the Ridgelines secret menu yet but I do show how to in the other models within the tips and trick videos.
Is there a way to set it up so honda doesn't sell your information? When I bought mine, the salesman set up my infotainment system for me. He agreed to all the sharing. Can I change that?
Maybe a factory reset but then you would have to redo your settings. I do have vehicle setting videos showing you how to set up your Ridgeline.
I love love LOVE my 2023 Ridgeline. But I hate hate HATE the screen ,, too complicated. To simply turn on the radio takes multiple taps on screen. It won’t let me view directions while driving but I am allowed or forced to try to visually navigate the screen to operate the radio. INSANE !!!

I have a 2022 Ridgeline rtl e wireless charger don't work and the automatic dimmer doesn't work either called Honda just give me the run a round what's up.
The wireless charger pad could be two things. First, double-check if the pad is on and then make sure the phone is fully on it. Second could be that maybe the phone or the phone case is not compatible with the wireless charger. The automatic dimmer mirror also has a power button on the mirror itself, check that.
I have the same issue with my wireless charger not working. Dealer replaced it under warranty with another dud. Called Honda and expressed my displeasure and got the run around as well. Crappie wireless charger.
Slapping the camera to end video is so yesterday. It's a silly fad that died as it started.

From a security perspective, its best to NOT use the All Door Unlock feature. Car Jackers, or worse, will linger around parking lots and if they see a vulnerable target, will follow to the vehicle, then jump in a side or back door when you approach.
American Honda has provided a setting to address this concern. Thanks for watching
i have had my Ridgeline for 5 months. I set it to lock all doors as soon as I set it in gear. Also that no doors unlock when I stop or turn off the engine. When I open my drivers door all other doors stay locked for that reason !
Gotta stop with the hand nonsense, didn’t like it. Was enjoying it till I had to shut You off !
