The title of the song一路生花means a blossom journey. Both of them especially Angela had gone through a lot in life, Shen Shen gave her a hug probably was telling her that her future journey will be filled with flowers / good luck. Angela returned him with another hug at the end of the show as a form of appreciation. Like you, these two hugs had moved a lot of viewers including myself ❤️

@@Epifania646 Angela was a wellknown actress in Taiwan when she's younger (you can say teenager-twentysomething). Later she got heart problem, but when she needs money to treat her illness, her mother told her there was no money and kicked her from her house. Then when she asked around, she found out that all her properties and all the money that she earned from all her hard works already changed into her mother's name. Basically she became a homeless sick girl without money or parent. Thankfully she got her sister took her to her house and gave her courage, if not she'll sleep on the street with a sick body. So She trully gone through a lot. Also, from what I can understand, Angela says to Zhou Shen with this song, she hopes his future will be like a blooming flower. It's amazing seeing two people who gone through a lot, still have a kind heart and can give couragement to others, that's why their hug made lot of viewers end up tearing or crying. Me included 😊
