That extra part that you added to the right of the layout turned out very nice. It really gives the feeling of being a more remote town, with its terminal tracks and a small yard to maneuver. Very good idea!
@tmfe1986 thanks, the extra part to the right is due to extra pieces of tracks left, but you are right. It gives a good feeling of a more remote town. Greetings from Austria 🇦🇹 Another view of the extra part to the right: czcams.com/video/YwuYL6xqeNE/video.htmlsi=5yRo1UuDkqdD1WD2
@@mmk-w4901 Yes, it really looks very good! Have you thought about just adding a station, but not the entire station, just the front, maybe gluing it to the glass (which I assume is for safety reasons, so that nothing falls to the floor). I don't know if I can explain myself clearly, in layouts from USA I have seen that many times in shelf-style layouts, they buy (or 3D print) only fronts of buildings to provide a decorative closure to the edges of the layout. So maybe by doing that, you can make the 2 tracks on the right look like they serve a small rural station. I hope I haven't confused you too much hahaha. Greetings from Argentina.
@@tmfe1986 Argentia? Entonces hablas espanol, si? Yes, good Idea. But due to lack of money I would rather say the layout is finished for a while. I am about to do some lights on and so.
@@mmk-w4901 Correcto, hablo español jajaja. I am in the process of putting together my layout I recently made the permanent change from AC 3 rails (Marklin) to DC. I have collected Marklin since my childhood but the truth is that in recent years I have gotten a little bored and tired that it is such a closed ecosystem, particularly expensive and especially difficult to find in these parts where I live. Marklin in some ways reminds me of the iPhone, it seems to be for a very specific audience and people who hardly have eyes for other brands.
@@mmk-w4901 Sounds familiar 😀 In april 2020 I had nothing, and now a "little bit" more 😁 I have Noch Birkenfeld, heavily adapted and a smaller Lima plastico, and "a few" locomotives and so... 🤗
