Richard Taunton College Hold Cricket Festival

This week marks National Schools sports week which coincides with Southampton being a host city of the Cricket World Cup.
So Richard Taunton Sixth Form College have hosted a school’s Cricket Tournament to encourage young people to take up the sport.
The tournament, which is funded by Southampton City Council, will see 7 schools from across the city take part, it aims to inspire young people to find out more about cricket and encourage them to get involved in the sport.
So we went along to watch the action.
