Feels nice to own this project on Vinyl. Such a great album to have in my collection!
No experience with Yello?????!?!?!??!?!?
YOUNG MAN! Yello was one of THE 80est 80s bands the 80s have ever seen and they did some mindbending COOL stuff over the years. Tracks to check out, off the top of my head: Goldrush, Bostich, Live at the Roxy, Ooooooh yeah, Pinball Chacha, She's gotta gun, I love you...
Their style is a - until they established - damned unique melange of 80s electro with more and more latin elements creeping in over the years.
One thing that has to be checked out besides their music are the early, homemade music videos - they're just cute and funny in a cheesy, oldfashioned way. :D
Commander Kruge I love Yello so much, they're hilarious. Can't stop listening to "Toy"😅
Julia Holter is awesome. Really enjoyed her 'Loud City Song' album
JMJ started to see the light (finally) asking The Orb for collaboration again. First time when asked them to remix the Oxygene, his cocksure mind wasn't ready that reinterpretation could be so far from the original piece and never published it. Orbs went angry and made amazing Toxygene track. Well, mr Jarre, better late than never :)
Interesting. I think "Swipe to the Right" was my favorite moment on the album. Cyndi Lauper's first albums were considered synth-pop/electro-pop, so I think it's a suitable collaboration, even though she expanded into other genres throughout her career. She's also has collaborated with other electronic artists (Tricky, Basement Jaxx, Kleerup, Axwell, etc.) and her most recent album of original material was 'Bring Ya To The Brink' which was nominated for Best Electronica album in 2009. If "Girls Just Wanna Have Fun" is your only reference point for her though, I can understand where you opinion is coming from. haha
Electronica 3 Jarre and Oldfield and Michael Cretu aswell goodbye time machine album :)
You talk about electronic music and have only experienced Yello in "Oh Yeah"? You should definitely listen to them, they are masterminds of electronic, even though the song on Electronica 2 is not the best. They did release a great electronic album just this year.
Can you review Flumes Skin When it comes out soon
Can u also review cloud nine by kygo
Heart of noise couldn't top the time machine. but it wasn't bad at all. But not so good like the time machine.

What's the name of the muzak at the beginning
whenever I have music in the background I credit it in the bottom left corner when it starts playing
@@TheWonkyAngle I know I'm referring to the music when you were waiting and then talked about how popular Electronica 1 was
@@ultrayoshi9657 oh that! haven't watched this video in years lol. "George Street Shuffle" by Kevin Macleod
@@TheWonkyAngle I seriously think Kevin Macleod makes the best royalty free music
What you want was absolutley horrible in my opinion! Though i agree with the other points.
Hahahahaha.... u dont know any thing about electronic music.... you r not familiar with Hans Zimmer..... Hahahahaha...
uh...yeah I am. I figured one of the most well-known film composers in existence didn't need a lengthy introduction?
