Hearing Peter Renaday as Mickey Mouse is quite a surprise considering he was more famous for voicing another giant talking rodent a few years later. One that knew Ninjutsu.
Hadn't heard about these when I was a kid. Nice. I'm sure that's Hal Smith as the narrator.

Thanks! I definitley feel he, Tony Pope, Patricia Parris, etc. are severely overlooked. It’s genuinely shocking to me just how much so. It honestly saddens me and I’d like to do what I can to preserve their parts/memories within both Mickey’s and Disney history. Them and the other teams of folks behind these efforts were honestly so so good at what they did and I just can’t fathom why Disney wouldn’t want to acknowledge, continue to keep in print, or fully preserve (to my knowledge atleast) any of their works themselves. It’s a very important part/era of their history IMO. Fondly remembered by those that know of them too.
@@inspiredfigmentsarchives well helps that thanks to Country Bears I got interested in hearing Peter’s other roles and other works, and it’s good getting to hear Pete’s Mickey works, especially from these other books outside the Talking Mickey toy . I’ve been more surprised to learn that Donald actually had someone other than Clarence Nash voicing him in some of this tapes, as I thought Nash and Tony Anselmo were Donald’s only two actors!

No I didn’t, that’s the way they were designed. Not a pen mark or anything, part of the original ink. Pretty sure it’s something to do with whatever activity there is, to do on that page.
