    Thanks, friend. I decided to retire my ancient Lincoln welder and upgrade - but the Yeswelder manual leaves a lot to be desired. Your explanation is clear and concise. I'm up and running.

    I just bought one of these and used it for MIG (.035 w/ gas) and stick (6013 1/8" inch rod) for the first time today. I couldn't be more satisfied. I have never stick welded with DC before. What a difference! I was hooked on welding before, but now I am really into it! I have a TIG stinger and consumables coming this week for it. I have never TIG welded before but I am excited to try it. Just a very good welder that meets a lot of needs at a great price. All the components appear to be very good quality. I was running it on 240V. I haven't tried it on 120V yet. As some have said, the access door is not quite wide enough to allow easy access for roller changes, but it is still pretty easy to do, so that is a very minor complaint.

      Glad you enjoyed it as much as i do! i agree completely with your comments. the access door is a bit small but if you run a 10lb spool wire changes are not often. Small tip for if you try 110v is to dial the amperage down and work up. It doesn't recognize when you are on 110 vs 220. If you have it up over 15 amps you most likely are going to pop the breaker.

    Nice video brother. I just picked one of these up and that was good information. The rig used many years ago was much different than this little thing. I’m surprised how well it works. Thanks again.

    Very nice. I purchased one several weeks ago. It’s now July 2, 2024. I had to refer to your video for clarification on some settings as I found their manual directions less than satisfactory. One thing I noticed is you cannot make the unit on the face panel change the diameter of the wire you’ll be using, and I don’t know how to change it from what was said at the factory, which is the same as you have on yours, doing this video post.

    Hi, thanks for the vid. I'm trying to determine the breaker I need to run this. I have an available 20 amp breaker that I can upgrade to 30 or an available 100 amp breaker that I'll need to add a receptacle at the disconnect box

    • @GreenMountainProjects
      @GreenMountainProjects  Před 3 měsíci +1

      You could run on the 30 if you don't turn the welder up to its full capacity. I have mine on a 40amp and never tripped it out. I added a 40 amp disconnect which is what i would recommend.

    Nice overview! Are you still liking this welder? What’s the range in thickness of material it can weld? Also, to confirm, can this be run on both 110V and 220V home circuited, right out of the box? I’m between this one and the Forney multi-process

    • @GreenMountainProjects
      @GreenMountainProjects  Před rokem +2

      Yes I am still loving it and would highly recommend over a Forney. this can run on both 110v and 220v right as it comes. This welder gets great penetration as I have welded up to 1/2 very successfully. Feel free to use my referral code "GMP" for a discount on their site!

      @@GreenMountainProjects Thanks for the info and the code! Really starting to lean towards this one because it seems to have such little limitations, especially for its price. Two more ?’s:
      2- What is the advantage in having the 220V capability over the ones that are 110V only? Is it ability to weld thicker material?
      2- Any particular reasons you recommend this over the Forney easy weld 140MP?

      Have you had any feed issues? I have the older blue one and have gone through 3 torches in a little over a year because of sticking liners. I got a refund and want to get this because the things I didn't like about the old one are fixed but don't want the same liner failures all the time again
