Complete restoration of Dads old Ford tractor. Check out the whole series on my channel Music used by permission: Ebymusic Check him out, great stuff ! / ebymusic
We to go keeping Dad's handy work on the alternator bracket. Its that stuff that really makes it yours (and your grandson's or granddaughter'a some day). That family anvil is a family heirloom!
As someone who has restored a couple of these; hats off brother. You are going the extra mile and doing things right. I love your honest, frustrated comments too. We’ve all been there and it’s nice to not see a highly edited and cleansed video. Keep up the good work and thanks for the entertainment.
Hey thanks my man. Appreciate the support. Yeah I’m not much for editing, what I do is what you see. Having fun though. I figure someday my sons will get a kick out of these
I semi restored a 47 2n. I was just amazed how large of a community and fan base there is online. Tons of people willing to share their knowledge on these old tractors
I bought a 1953 Golden Jube from a grandson when said tractor was in family since new, purchased from his granddad. All these old tractor if have calcium chloride in tires have rotted out rims.
i’ve always wished i had the shop to do restoration work like your doing it’s cool to see you doing it take care and thank you for videos i really like the electrolyzing process gonna have to put that to use
Hey thanks Mike. My shop is nothing fancy. It’s just a pole barn with metal roofing I built then poured a concrete floor. Does the job though. Just put a woodstove in there too so it’ll be a productive winter too. After this tractor is done I have 2 more ready to go in. Thanks for watching
I own a model 950 Ford tractor I inherited from my dad. Do you have a video showing how to reset the separation of the rear wheels? My dad had them as wide as they would go. I need to bring them closer together. I have the shop manual from Ford, but it isn’t detailed on which lugs to loosen. I know once they’re loosened the wheels will walk themselves one at a time to the desired width, but I’m worried they’ll fall off in the garage.
Do you mean 960? Those were the tricycle front machine with the power adjust rear wheels. On those you just loosen the nuts and walk the tractor forward a little bit to space them out further. They won’t fall off. You’ll be all set
