There are several different variations of the daisy chain this is my favorite because it has the flowers with leaves in between them. This stitch can be used in necklaces, bracelets and rings.
    Materials needed:
For a bracelet you will need 5ft. of 6lb. test Fireline
For a anklet you will need 6 1/2ft. of 6lb.test Fireline
For a ring you will need 2 1/2ft. of 6lb. test Fireline
you can use 11/0, 8/0 or 6/0 seed beads in three or more colors
    lobster claw clasp
two jump rings or two split rings

Over the years, following Aleshia's directions, I have made a few Daisy Chains, Arrow Bracelets, and Diamond Patterns, in 6/0 seed beads and then remade them all in 4mm beads, and I really like the way they came out. Years later, they are still intact, too.

If you freeze the video and look at the daisy chains going up and down there are 2 beads, 3 bead, 2 beads, 3beads repeatedly. In each row of the three beads the center bead will be the white seed bead.

i also dont use wire protectors...besides the fact it costs more... you will be just as well off making several passes through the beads at the end near the clasp several times, cause with fireline it is thermally bonded and VERY STRONG :) hope that helps.

Your tutorials are excellent. I feel you go at a very reasonable speed; showing the thread paths and directions at a pace that is easy to follow. As I learn, I often pause the video, go back a bit, and watch the steps again and again. Then I try to do a section from memory. If you went any slower I think the tutorial would be more frustrating. Thanks for all you do!

Very nicely done and the tutorial is the best I've seen. My daughter of nine wanted to learn the daisy chain and she mastered it in no time flat they your video. It shows how taking your time and teaching others like they r children is a plus in this case as a LOT of your viewers r probably just beginning "beaders". My Emmy did this with the stretchy kind as she is allergic to most metals and if you don't overwear them like in the shower etc… I think they will last a while. Mainly making sure u keep the string lubricated with some oil or my daughter uses Garnier sleek and shine serum. Hope that helps others to keep old favorites new again. Thx again for the video and God bless. 😊

Your attention to detail is the only thing that got me through this. It doesn't look hard or so I thought. Maybe I am just too old, blind or whatever to get it but I followed you to the tee and got it. I was working with cheap beads that were all different sizes coming out of the bag....don't know why the bead company made such shoddy bead quality but nevertheless I did it. I may have to refer to you again to remember how but it sure was fun. Thanks again.

I buy my fishing line monofilament at Walmart but you can buy it at any place that sells fishing supplies. These are the monofilaments I use along with there diameters 6lb. dia. .010 and 8lb. dia. .011 and 10lb. dia. .012 As you can see they are very close in sizes. My favorites are 8lb. and 10lb. because they are very strong and stiff enough that the ends can be used as needles. I color the ends of my strings with permanent markers.

I can see which beads you go through clearly in the video. It is confusing when you say the color of the bead, instead of the name of the bead; leaf, center, petal bead, as I am using different color beads.
I'm slow to pick up new patterns so I wrote it down so I can remember each step.
    Thank you for this tutorial.
