Mushroomhead was in my opinion the best band ever and to see the downfall has been very upsetting but to know that Waylon has brought us something that was definitely needed to his fans is amazing. Everytime you hear his voice you know there is so much more in him to see. Thank you guys for keeping the music going and always showing us true talent in every song and performance y'all do.
Mushroomhead is definitely in my top 5 as well! Waylon changed the game in a good way when he came on the scene! Hard to still call them mushroomhead anymore.
Yea The Righteous and the Butterfly to me is their last album and best of Waylon era, he did amazing on that album. Nothing of course killed it also, and it was cool to have JMann back but Waylon was the best vocally in that record and is the best thing that ever happened to Mushroomhead. They F’d up losing him and Jeff. I think he did a good job vocally on this. Sounds different than even stuff from Mushroomhead. He is a talented vocalist that can do a lot with his vocals. Scott Weiland was a master at that also, as we all know🤘💀🤘🎸

@@michael-ji8cu Yea I agree with that also. Save Us and Embrace the Ending are two of their best songs. Good Gravy riffs on Save Us. I like every song off that album actually but one I especially dig is Just Pretending. Waylon’s vocals over that riff and those keys. The keys are the highlight for me of the song with this groove type mid paced riff behind it and then Waylon’s vocals of course. That is something I have always dug about Mushroomhead along with their other samples/electronics Industrial sound, is how they use piano and cool keyboard keys. A sound totally different than that of 133 and Sid from Slipknot. I like both bands and never understood the comparison besides of course the masks and many band members. They have two totally different styles and sound. I always appreciated Stitch and Shmotz contributions to the band. Miss the days of Shmotz in the band also. He always wrote cool parts with the keys. I’m a Shred Head haha but do dig some good creepy keys in Mushroomhead🤘💀🤘🎸🎹🎧

Dude thats rad to see AJ in this. You’re a cool dude Waylon, and AJ, working with Waylon, Mudvayne, Sid from the Knot, and put on a concert with Sid that was badass. Interviews with Cory, and Chad, but working with Greg. Dude is living the dream. This video was badass and actually gave me Knot’s Psychosocial vibes, the fire at night out in the fields, being in the barn etc. One thing though I have never seen in a Slipknot video or even a Mushroomhead one I don’t believe and that is what I saw with this video, the most gnarly badass metal thing ever! Dude gets a nail through the tongue then sawed off hahaha WTF?!!!! Too Badass dudes. I’m diggn this one A Killers Confession. I still jam that first album.
