I'm so sorry about Chole. I've raised 3 Labs and now on my 4th. Tara and Adam she is going to get through it. I love how much you both take such good care of her. Praying for Chloe to have a speedy recovery 🙏💗 I hope you can get rid of those fire ants, they hurt so bad when they bite, "burning fire pain", hence the name. Keep girls and Grayson inside till the ants are gone! I've seen those fire ant piles get as large as 3-4 ft high. You are doing such a great job Tara, taking care of Chole.

I’ve been following this all weekend on instagram. I’m so sorry for sweet Chloe. Our dogs are our babies, too. I’m so happy she has such a good family to take care of her. I saw today she’s doing better. God is good. You are such a good mama to ALL your babies 💕

This is so sad. Praying for Chloe. I hope you guys get this figured out asap. If she loses an eye, dogs are resilient. Just throwing that out there. Mine still loves to play fetch and lost vision in one eye.

Tara please get Chloe some help asap before it's too late. She is in alot of pain. Take her to another vet that actually knows about envenomation. It is so obvious that's what Chloe has. Prayers 🙏🙏

Yep. It’s classic pup puts nose down to inspect snake and gets bit. And all the hallmark signs of it being a pit viper. I blew up her page yesterday explaining this to her, imploring her to help her pup. That’s why seeing how badly Chloe is suffering is incredibly hard for me right now. It’s probably past the window that antivenin is effective at this point too. So freaking sad!!!!
Fire ants are indeed venomous, there is clearly evidence of fire ants in the backyard, I believe she is doing the best she can she obviously loves her pup and will do everything she can to help feel better ❤️

We've got four dogs and one of our fur girls has been having issues lately. She had an infection from an unpassed miscarriage first and had to have emergency surgery. Now the vet thinks she might have a brain lesion. I totally understand how scary and stressful it is to watch your fur babies suffer. The antibiotics she gets should clear her infection up within a few days. There's a possibility she could lose her eye but dogs are so much more resilient with these things than humans and she will be okay! Praying for Chloe and you guys❤
I’ve been bit/stung? by fire ants, actually back in august, on my ankle and foot. It was absolutely miserable. Sending prayers and positivity to Chloe + your family ❤️

Oh Tara, I’m praying for sweet Chloe, I have a lab that’s 14 years old. They are the sweetest dogs you’ll ever have they are like people. All dogs are though. I have a dachshund that’s 13 also and she’s just like my baby. I just love them all! I really hope she’s feeling better. ❤I love you all

When U have 2 give dogs meds, they take it easier with boiled chicken tenders or ground turkey cooked. Something special that they don't usually get. My german shepherd loves whipped cream cheeze with pill tucked inside. Something special for their discomfort!
