What a selfless and amazing manager. Southampton would be the best in Europe had they their players and fans not been so shortsightedly forcing this coaching genius to compromise.

don't really get the comments here about "it's never his fault, he never takes responsibility".... he literally said multiple times "i can be better", "i was not the best version of myself", "what happened on the pitch is 100% down to me".... what else do you want the bloke to say?!

I love the sheer honesty, shows he knows the issues. Know what he has to do to fix it and is not wasting any more time. Southampton haven't had any bite for a while, he has the fire the players need right now.

Donât even mind this interview. Yes heâs rambling and is a bit incoherent with his thoughts, but you can tell he has a lot of spirit and drive. Itâs just brutal honesty. I appreciate this more than the robotic managers who just go through the motions in press conferences. He acknowledged that he needs to be better as well.
