Very simple, very smart, very aesthetic! Hope it's UV resistant.

you could have sealed up the top of the rubber boots with black silicone. the rubber is waterproof but the top and bottom are not. nice out of the box thinking though!

They should have used marine grade linear actuators. My ss 1500 is one year old and the actuators are broke. They were leaking rusty water out of them from day one. So many people are looking for these actuators that there's none available. The new campers have actuators with horizontal motors. I now have a 25,000 camper that I can't use sitting in my yard. Forest river says they don't have any that they can spare.

Exactly the same problem. Yeah, marine grade actuators would be a lot better upgrade!

I had the same problem. Jacks we’re replaced under warranty with the rubber boot style you have. Obviously that is not a fix. I like your solution.

Yeah, my camper was 1 year old, and the dealer couldn't done anything, except sell me a new one, witch is 450$ Can.

If Palomino can try the real water proof linear actuator from ANTUATOR, there won't be any problem again for the roof lift system. Maybe Palomino dose not plan to solve the problem in fact.

Bravo! For those of us who can't sew, would you consider making more and selling them to other Rogue owners?

Malheureusement non, trop peu de temps libre. Je suppose que n'importe quel couturier pourrait faire beaucoup mieux et ce, à prix modique.

or you could have put silicon around those open areas with a clamp.

Shame on Palomino and others who are too lazy to design a solution to this problem on their own. Just waiting to see replacement parts is killing their brand.

Absolutely yes.. its sad cause i liked their camper, it was my third one, and will be the last

This has been an issue for nearly 5 years on these campers. From Palomino to Real Lite. They always replace under warranty, but it’s always the same design. We had a customer who’s had a camper for 2 years and they’ve been replaced 3 times.

Mine was 1 years old, and there's no warranty for these here in Qc, Canada. Idk why, they should've, but I had to pay for them.

I do not think Palomino really like to solve this problem. As I know there are some real water proof linear actuators from a company called ANTUATOR. But Palomino dose not like to choose a better quality linear actuators to solve the problem permanently.

Those Actuators Palomino installs are garbage. Windy Nation makes a better actuator, after 2 failed actuators on my ss-550 in 8 months, and I sealed mine with silicone, I just replaced them.
