@@josslujano7615 lol idk if he's reused riffs but he sure as hell does that dorky major noodling into edgy distorted open chords thing in like 80% of the songs of theirs I have heard
People don't really understand how impressive this is. I mean to see some guy shredding is not something new on the internet. But to dissect these two incredibly complex guitar parts and learn them by ear takes some next level musicianship! This whole song is just pure syncopation, I think it's one of the grooviest and rhythmical things Dance Gavin Dance has ever made!
This and the lick in long nights in jail are just so goddamn good.
The only thing better than new DGD is Mike covering a tabbing DGD. You rule, man. Glad you’re back.

Program is just called Guitar Pro. Version 7 is the one I use, not sure if the files will open with any earlier versions 👍

question?? when you do covers how do you cut the guitars out of the mix and replace it with your own?? Do you have mixes of the songs you cover???Are the original guitars still in there and you mixed your guitars to flush them out ? Might be a confusing question but I'm trying to start doing guitar covers of my own .
The guitars are still there. I just mix mine over the top to flush them out. Quite a bit of extra volume and some specific EQ can make them cover over the original guitars 👍
do you know anyone who does bass covers like you do guitar covers? been watching you since I started learning guitar about 5 years ago, and I'd love to find a similar channel as I start learning bass.

Thinking of getting a Cort Gh100! At a whopping price of $230 😄
How's the tuning stability on yours?
I replaced the tuners with a nice set of Gotohs, as well as the pickups. It was fine for the price but in the grand scheme of things it's worth putting a better set on it 👍
@@Mikerisms what guitar (that you own) would you recommend getting without having to replace the tuners and/or pickups? The one that stays in tune the best?
@@AirGuitar Entirely depends on your budget. I have a Cort KX Custom that is utterly fantastic, around £700 when I bought it. But then I have a Steve Vai Jem at £2,500! At reasonable prices I'd say anything in the Ibanez RG or S series have always been top for me 👍
@@Mikerisms I pretty much just want something that stays in tune and intonates well. My current guitars don't do that too well. I couldn't find the KX Custom online anywhere but I could look into some Ibanez's. How's the G100's intonation?
@@AirGuitar Intonation is in the setup process, it changes and varies depending on a variety of factors. So does need re-setting occasionally. If a guitar's Intonation is bad then it's bridge saddle adjustments that fix it. I've never had a guitar that's Intonation couldn't be sorted. It's perfectly fine on the G100.

Gonna be honest, it's ok 🤷🏻♂️ seems to follow the standard DGD formula, there wasn't anything that particularly blew me away. Buuuut, it is packed with fun riffs and licks so it is still a lot of fun to play 😁
