That was so straight forward and simple to follow. A complicated, you would think, technique, yet I was able to create it immediately. Another skill to my bow. Thanks, Stan Arthur.
@@stanarthur hello, can You help me ?.I need 3 photos in one slide but i want to drag them with click and photos to be in circle(and when i drag them the photos do a circle move)
Yes you answer ,. I made some scene which I work in after effects but when I try to put in this , it never fit right place ... @least with this idea , I can put 3 together and work it out
How do you stagger the playback? I have four videos in a quadrant and I want each one to start after the other? Is it best to add frame hold segments as stills?
I can't find the 'Effects Control Panel' anywhere on my PR, even after clicking/selecting the video clip. I've just begun PR so maybe I have to enable it first somewhere?
how to adjust four video stack up on another, because i can do three videos stack up but when i do the 4th one i cannot stack up over one another ,please make a video on this problem.thanks
not exactly what I want for a tutorial but it's a good Idea 😂 (wanted to see all 3 POV shots "multi-cam" while playing a preview so I can cut a clip what I want)
Hi I really needed some help. I added multiple videos on top of each other, like a mosaic/grid of individual videos. But, I need them to play each at a time, since there is music behind and each video represents a part of the lyric. Is this possible?
Thank but I can ask you something I can make 2 video in on video .. Same TV screen video games like below and above and I also want to know a way or possible
What if I want to edit all three videos one by one, importing them as 'non finished' videos in order to make a projection mapping later with 3 projectors? The need to see all videos at once and on top, use media to change these videos to build the montage, scene by scene and sync together and to music? Can premiere pro do that? Thanks for the clear info!:))
You're talking about nesting. You can drag-and-drop a sequence from the project panel into another sequence. It just creates a nest of the original sequence.
Hi Stan, thanks for the video, I have a question! The footage I am editing was taken on a mobile phone. I follow your instructions in reducing the scale and then pasting the attributes to the two other video clips no problem. However, when I try to adjust the horizontal position, the clip I am moving slides into "the wings" so to speak. ie, it disappears into blackness as if the only viewable portion of my window is in the middle, where the 3 clips are layered on top of one another (if you get me?) Is there some sort of setting that I have overlooked? Or has it scaled the viewable portion of my screen to something smaller than usual? Any help would be apppreciated! Apologies if this is a stupid question!
They're actually is no background here that's just the default black you get with premiere pro. The background here is actually transparent. If you'd like a different background, you would lay that in on the first track. Track number one.
Very helpful. Can I change the colour of the black background so that it makes a better contrast. Kindly advise Sir. I tried with Color Matte but it makes the video clips transparent as well.
I am not talking about resizing the video and moving it where I want. I am talking about resizing it and then zooming as much as I want in it without changing the size of that resized window(video) @@stanarthur
Will you please include the link to your Adobe Premiere group on LinkedIn? I have searched your name , the name of the group comment etc… Your videos are great! Right to the point, short and sweet. Thank you.
And if I want to put 4 videos on the same screen, but I want the rest of them to be paused while the first one is playing, then the second one starts playing while the other 3 are paused and so on... Sorry for the terrible explanation
It's a very good question. Any video that you want to pause, right click in the timeline and choose add frame hold at the point where you want the video to be paused. Now you will have to stretch the end of the clip out for as long as you want it to be paused. I hope that makes sense.
Probably. It's in the effects control panel. Do you see that? Click on window in the menu bar and look down to be sure that affects controls is checked on.
Thank you for just cutting to the point and not making this 15 minutes with chatter. BRILLIANT!!
That's what we all need ... a short and straight to the point video. Thank you sir

Is there an automation setting to select 50 or so clips and batch them, to automate them all to one screen and equal sizes to 'fit'?
I love you! Thanks for this! :)

Just Adjust where each clip begins on its individual track in the sequence.

Hey I was wondering if it was possible to combine 3 standard 16:9 videos and edit them together to get 180 degree affect?
Sure it could be done. Making it seamless and continuous would be very hard.
@@stanarthur thank you. I plan on using it for just a couple short scenes.

Yes certainly you can. You would only need to drop a color mat in on track one and change it to any color you like.
thank you so much !!!!
You're welcome!
How about vertically? For 16:9
What if I dont want a horizontal strip but three vertical scenes that fill the whole frame?
That's a different tutorial.

Please send me any ideas you have for new tutorials.
I have posted it in Premier group. that is bit challenging for my students..
Thanks for asking that question! I was using Photoshop and creating masks, what a pain
on which application he did it??
How do you zoom in into one of the videos without changing their aspect on the overall window ?
Nest the sequence first. Then use scale and position.
I am not talking about resizing the video and moving it where I want. I am talking about resizing it and then zooming as much as I want in it without changing the size of that resized window(video)

Yo Stan, how do i pause two clips and let one play?
It's called insert frame hold. Right click on a clip after you have positioned the playhead where you want the frame to hold. You'll figure it out.
What happens to the sound of the three vids? Also are there some ways to freely mute one of the vid?
That's a whole nother tutorial.

Look for making a group singing video.
How can I use this technique in such a way that one video plays after another?

The only problem that I have now is after saving and exporting it only one video is appearing.
I'm so sorry to hear that. There's a reason for everything so perhaps starting from the beginning you'll have success the second time around.

It's Vince Gilligan. He's everywhere
CAn you do this with more than three clips? (probably, just checking)

Of course you can. Nothing has changed.
how do I highlight the two clips?
I think you are asking how to select multiple clips on a timeline. Simply click and drag across the clips that you want to select.
And if I want to put 4 videos on the same screen, but I want the rest of them to be paused while the first one is playing, then the second one starts playing while the other 3 are paused and so on... Sorry for the terrible explanation
