Sausage & Cheese Kolache's and Hot Black Coffee ........ Great Early Morning Wake-Up Breakfast .... back in the day. 😉
The random knife roll add ons have been cracking me up lately, but I gotta say.. The corn dog has been the best so far. 😂
I know what you mean. I always wait to see what is in there every time, then after the charcoal dump, the cowboy with a snake in his boot! lol😂 Love it Brad!😅
Made these last week with Sausage, Egg & Cheese completely wrapped. When I brushed on the butter, I sprinkled them with some salt. These are sooo good. We have a rooster that my 15 year old wants to butcher. Not sure if we're going to do rooster noodle soup or chicken broccoli rice & cheese kolaches
Dude I’m going to have to find more friends to eat all this food you keep inspiring me to cook. Keep up the great work buddy.
Opioid allergy 0
I’m right here 🙋🏻♂️
Likewise. I wish my kids still lived at home, so i had more mouths to eat my cooking.
Saaaaaaaame. My only friend is my mom, and she can't eat as much as she used to.
I'm sitting here on 6-27-2024 eating Kolaches that my kids and I just made. These are super popular at our house.
Who all on here tries Chuds recipes after every video? Definitely my fav channel
Bradley, this is one of your best & funniest videos! You are extremely entertaining, and an amazing cook! Please keep on making those vids.
You the man dude. Now I’m famished
HE DID THE MOUNTAIN SONG!!!
Thank you again for mentioning the Nitrite concern.
Greeting from your San Antonio neighbor. I absolutely love your channel. So glad to have found it!!! I've been a sausage making Queen lately and now my own kolaches, priceless!!!
3:37 A good butcher never forgets the step-sausages.
You pushed me over the edge Bradley. I am off to Costco tomorrow to get a stand mixer. Your dough-making escapades are epic and I have to get in on all that fluffy goodness. 🍴
The bacon egg and cheese sausage kolache sounds Devine.
The most important tool you used in this video was a hotdog on a stick 🌭
I like all the bread making. It's a nice addition to accompany the bbq side of things.
Once I moved from southwest Oklahoma to Florida, I was dismayed to find out that kolaches were not a thing around here. I've tried so many recipes but none of them came close to what I've gotten in Texas or Oklahoma. I'm gonna try this one next and be hopeful that it's closer to what I've had in the past. 🙏
Definitely on my list of things to make now too
Super mad props!! Just discovered your channel and I dig it!!
Made it today! It was amazing!!
Finally!!! These are soo good and I live in the north now where there isn’t a shirply’s donut shop
Another fantastic video. Thanks Brad keep it up
Hey! So glad to see this recipe! My wish was granted! I'll be making these this weekend.
looks fantastico Mr Robinson! Hijole!!!Put some frijoles and chicharrones in the next batch!!!!!!!!! AYE AYE AYE!!!
We went on vacation a couple of years ago to visit family right outside of Lubbock Texas and we stopped at a donut shop their and I seen that they had kolaches on the menu so I ordered them and let me tell you something. I'm from Nebraska a lot of bohemians here and what I got from that shop is nothing what I was raised to be kolaches. I even told the shop that I was going to call my grandma and tell her what you guys down there are doing to kolaches 😂
Most donut shops in Southern Texas have Texas Kolaches (sausage) but you will find the more traditional with the fruit on the way to Central Texas. There's a lot of places like Prasek's in Hillje that make them both ways. If you go to a Shipley's Donuts they will stuff all kinds of meats in them. I've seen a place in Austin use Boudin.
Asked for this a year or so ago thank you!! They look great now I need to try.
Bradley...greetings from Nova Scotia !! love the channel and your recipes are always great! Love the little surprise in the knife roll every episode!! Cheers!
Yummy ! When I lived in Texas I use to have these and I haven’t had them in years. Thanks for sharing 😊
Make these all the time at home. Try adding the mustard into the kolaches with the meat and cheese! You won’t be disappointed.
Boudin is my favorite kolache.
Fantastic video
Philly cheese steak Kolache!! Breakfast Kolache( breakfast sawsauge, scrambled egg and a hollindaise dip)
I love all of your videos. As good and informative as they all are, I have to say that I look forward to the “There’s a snake in my boot” part. 😂 I really appreciate this video as I am from the kolache capital of the world but now I live in Louisiana. My grandmother always had her own homemade kolaches on hand when I would visit.
You must have had fun doing this one. The sun was going on and off dark and light :) I really enjoy your videos! best BBQ channel hands down :) I have tried many of your recipes and success in all!!!! Peace!
My grandmother was Czech, and from the El Campo/Goliad area of central texas. This brought back memories.
OMG....YES!!!!! Kolaches are the thing I miss the most since we moved to TN from Texas. They just don't make them here, so I am PUMPED to try these!
Kolache, sausage roll, whatever……, I’m in. I haven’t had a good sausage roll since my last visit to Dallas. Looks great Brad. I’m making these this weekend.
Amazing recipe sir. My favorite breakfast grubbage.
OMG I miss Kolaches!!! Lived in Texas for 13 years and now in upstate NY. Been thinking about making them and I think this is the final persuasion I need!
The Shipley’s Donuts in my hometown made kolaches with leftover donut dough, and they were amazing! Thank you for this video!!
Nice knife set especially the corn dog
I didn't realize I was spoiled growing up in Texas, until I moved out.
No sweet tea, no sausage koloches, no Whataburger. Selena though? She's everywhere.
Those are some clean looking weens! I'm almost through the first batch of sausage I put together thanks to your tutelage. Can confirm that a 5 lb batch is too much for the stand mixer sausage stuffer setup, but I'm hoping to improve my setup soon!
Great video, as always!
Hi from Czech Republic! It's so nice to see you make a czech style food! You could also try making some czech sausages (klobásy) and maybe even come to Prague!
Greetings Honza, from Western Washington state USA. 2ND generation American here. Do you know any Bubenovich's? Our Granpaw immigrated from Czechoslovakia, through Elis island as a toddler around 1900. I only remember seeing the great grandparents once. All l remember is they were very old, and spoke a strange language. I believe they were from the Prague area.
Don’t fall for it, I’ve seen Hostel
@@jankecaldes Thank you for the response! It doesn't surprise me that there are lots. I had 12 aunts and uncles all with the surname or maiden name of Buben. So we have hundreds of cousins all over the U.S.
Grampaw settled in West Virginia with his family, and after WW1 he moved to Oklahoma and got married there. 13 kids later, and all the sons served in combat roles in WW2, and Korea. All survived. Several cousins saw combat in Vietnam. One was MIA for about a year and is presumed KIA. I'll have to search West Virginia to see if any Bubens are still there.
Back in the 70s, my 2nd oldest brother was spending 2 weeks in an Anchorage Alaska jail on a misdemeanor, and his cellmate was one of several Russians who had jumped ship, seeking asylum. The Russian was friendly and asked Ron,
You Czechoslovakian, no? Ron asked, how did you know? And he replied, oh, can tell, can tell.
Dobre' zdravi!!
Ahoj Honza! I'm in the UK but visit cz regularly, I make some fresh klobasa which are amazing!
Absolutely a fan of more kolache videos. It's my favorite food group ;)
Lola he’s are Kolaches are the king of breakfast. Awesome video
Great job sir
Trying this with some brisket for my Thanksgiving contribution this year at the in laws, keep up the amazing videos Bradley!
On point 👍🔥😋🍺
had brisket ones at Kerlins sister food truck this summer while I was in Austin. They were delish
Have them here in Central Louisiana too. Great for breakfast. We have them with sweet fillings as well.
Need to wear a bib to catch the drool! A bib worthy video indeed!!
i've been waiting for a kolache recipe for quite a while!
Next tp fried Gizzards, Kolaces ate my favorite truck food
Just purchased the MEAT grinder today!! Thanks Bradley!!!
Great work Chud looks delicious! I know the Weber series is over, but would be interested to see your take on a Turkey with thanksgiving coming up!
There are a couple kolache joints out here where I live, and they’ll do egg and sausage, or egg and bacon as well! So good 🤤 wanna try these sausage kolaches now!
cool, show us how to make one with pulled pork. Love your stuff!!
Fantastic video! I love making these with cinnamon rolls too. The sweet and savory is killer!
Ooooh!!! Inspiration bomb!!!
@@ChristyVaughn I have a video on my channel. It’s sooo good.
Good morning Bradley, those kolaches look yum. I'd like to see you attempt Porketta sometime. That's a dish I've never seen in Texas.
Born and raised in Houston Tx… kolaches in the morning are about as famous as breakfast tacos in the morning!! 😊❤kolache love
He finally did it lol now we want the brisket version lol
Texas kolaches for the win! You're goated for this one bro
Nice
Thanks Bradley, they look very yummy indeed! Are you going to post the recipe on your site?
I miss those! They don't seem to exist outside of TX.
I lived in Houston for a bit, loved Kolaches! Will be trying this recipe out. Also, since you asked, maybe try smoked TexMex food?
That Czech bakery/shell servo between Austin and Dallas has awesome kolache’s !
Czech Stop, I-35 exit 353. Love it!
I love your corn dog
Hey Chud I know you haven’t done welding videos in a while but now that the weather is getting cooler in Texas you should get back to it! I’d love to see you make a Santa Maria style grill, I’m planning on making one myself but I’d love too see your ideas.
Righteous!
It’s definitely time for me to go to sleep because for a sec I thought that you had a corn dog in your knife satchel. Anyways I love kolaches. Great video!
Really want to see ribeye and blue cheese sausage please!!!
I'm about to be ordering Southside Meat Market's Sausage value sampler and gonna see if my childhood memories come back with these guys. If they do I'll put them in a taste Test with Meyers BBQ to see if my childhood favoritism still holds.
YES!!!
I like the Hello Fresh commercials ... it's like getting two cooking vids in one!
Would love to see you do a brisket on a Kamado style smoker
Thanks.
A damn corn dog. 😂. You're great to watch man. Love your vids
Brad, I would love to see a texas BBQ version of a British sausage roll!!
I dig the random corn dog in the knife pouch. 😂
Those are great try some bierocks there amazing
Here in Chicago we have bagel dogs which, as I'm sure you've deduced, are hot dogs wrapped in a bagel dough just like these. They're incredible. I imagine these are so much belter just due to the inherent differences.
here in Florida we call em pigs in a blanket. they are delicious when you brush em with butter or cover it with brown sugar and caramelize the sugar on it.
Hell yeah brother, Parek v Rozliku 2.0, I'm sure our Czech friends are loving it :D. - Fabio, Portuguese living in Prague.
Its time for a cook book brother.
While watching this, my wife paused it “ you’re gonna try that right ? That looks good AF”.
As usual, everything looked amazing. When are you going to do a chorizo recipe? I thought that would have been one of your first videos considering you're in Texas.
Love the change up of food! Can you do an homage to South African culture with Peri Peri Chicken? If you haven't had it, change that. It is amazing.
😊I would like to see you take on homemade pizza, wild boar sausage, and some exotic meat like snake
Thanks, another top vid. As a suggestion have you tried cooking bacon donuts?
typically in central US, kolach is a somewhat sweet dough with fruit -- but if you use less sugar, and use a sausage filling, you make klobasnjek (phonetically spelled for you). You did very well. R
Please give the grin while loading the casings onto the horn…..🤞🏽
There it is😂😂😂😂
Brad, how about making some beef or pork snack sticks?
Slovaceks in West is a great place for them!
I spot an updated version of the tortilla press. lol
you should make Tamales!
You can find them at every donut shop in North Louisiana
Can you do a solo video on just different types of bread making. Maybe “bake” a loaf in the smoker if possible?
Hey Brad, great video. Will the recipe/s be available?
Hell yeah! Finally some "european" stuff on your channel, here we call them Parek v Rohliku, very popular and usually served with mustard or ketchup :) Greetings from Prague! You should try making Svíčková!
Ahoj do Prahy!
Párek v rohlíku is best in classic rohlík. Just cut the end and stuff the hot dog in.
And svíčková is a great idea! I wonder how it would taste with smoked beef
