I actually liked how this ended. I was worried it was going to end with at least one of the relationships still intact, but this realistic ending made the series all the more better. It was an interesting watch!
It seems that the 4 glasses represent the 4 characters. They are like the glasses, transparent and really fragile.

Jaeha - cannot date only one person, he is polyamorous (meaning dating, or engaging in romantic relationships with the consent of all partners)
Jiyoung - she likes Hyun, wants to have Hyun, uses her lip balm, and has sex with Jaeha so she could at least feel like she somehow interacts with Hyun.
Hyun - She first just wanted friend's with benefit, no romantic relationships, but now wants to date only one person, Jaeha
Minhyuk - Neither one of these, he cannot understand FWB's and Jaeha, nor Jiyoung. He just thinks the situation is interesting.
Well actually Jaeha didn’t get the consent of ALL partners. Just a cheater disguised as polyamorous :/ it’s pretty sad how valid this whole season was though, all 3 except min hyuk all seemed so very broken. ☹️

Personally i didnt decide to watch this when the first ep came out, maybe i thought it was intense for me. Glad i did watch it in the end tho its realistic and i love it for that.
I think some people also find it the same as mine (like intense ??) and "out of their comfort zone" thats why they tend to stick to the typical romantic dramas, thats just my opinion tho

To b honest the main character is all about herself and self centered. She didnt care about her friend at all. I dnt like tht part. Was waiting for her friend to give her few awesome dialogue but it ended jst like that.
Her friend is literally obsessing over her. She did sex with every men the girl gets attached to because she wants to prove her wrong? That's so weird and sickheaded for me 😂...
no, she had self-respect. her friend was weird and gave so many red flags from the first episode, the first few minutes. "I can't live without you, you're not allowed to have close bond with anyone but me" this isn't healthy, it's a stalker-like obsession. If Ji Young was a guy you would've seen it instantly.
Hyun was honest with herself, she thought she was comfortable in the poly relationship but found she was not. If she stayed longer in either bond everyone would've been more miserable. The one time I disagreed with her was when she fought with Jae ha and told him his cats don't actually love him except when he feeds them, talking about his various relationships as well. That was cruel, and you can bet that will stick with him. Otherwise, she was honest with herself, and can hopefully take herself to a better situation.
that’s what i like about this drama. every main character u see is so likeable and ‘perfect’.
I’m glad the writers didn’t do that and made her the characters people with flaws in their personality.
This is a legit masterpiece wowwww whoever wrote this and even the actors and the camera work the editing everything just wow I’m blown away

Let me talk about Jae Ha for a sec. Everything changed for him the moment Hyun went to his house the second time. He doesn't like to admit it but he treats Hyun a little little differently than his other partner(s).
With his OCD tendencies, he could've made a deal with Hyun that she could only come on Thursdays, like how the other girl always only come on Sundays. Hyun actually messed up his calendar, but he didn't do anything about it. I think he likes Hyun more than he lets on.
And that's why when things went downhill, he was distraught to the point that he didn't clean up for the time being. He actually liked the love Hyun gave to him. That's why he was stringing her along. But sadly, he got scared of the changes and compromises he has to make for their relationship to work. Afterall, it's been only just over a month when they started dating.
Let's look into the glass breaking incident. We infer that the broken glass represents Hyun. Notice how Jaeha tried to clean it up recklessly, he ended up hurting himself. We can relate this to the bridge scene. I think Jaeha actually would like to run to her and be with her, but he stopped because he could see he already broke Hyun. He knows that they would just hurt each other. So finally he officially break up with her.
One more thing, Jaeha doesn't like Jiyoung like what others here think. Ahn Ji just wanted Jaeha to reason to Hyun that he likes Jiyoung. Jiyoung at this moment is grasping things here because Hyun's leaving her.
...
One thing's for sure, Hyun will never forget Jaeha. Because of everything that ensued while being with Jaeha, she finally learned everything she needs and wants in a relationship. She's happier now because she's finally free.
Same thing for Jaeha. He learned an important lesson about romantic relationships. He can do better now in handling his future polyamorous relationships.
These two will definitely hold special places in each other's minds.

Waah, I really made an essay out of this huh. It's just I can't get over the what ifs for this drama because of the open ending, just like how I felt for Failing in Love. Well, since it's open, we are free to make whatever conclusion we like for the characters.
As much as I know and understand that Hyun and Jaeha can never be together, there's still this tiny hope that they eventually solved their issues and be in a relationship together. Even just friendship is enough bargain for me. Argghh why did Hyun hold on to that lighter 😂. My hopes went a little bit high, especially because when that special song played, Jaeha automatically is what she sees in her mind. Haha lol.
I'll eventually get over this drama lol. So pardon for this long ass essay 😁.
Finally someone said it! I agreed that Jaeha definitely likes Hyun more than he made out to be, and she did actually acknowledged this when his other lover confronted and told her that she was being selfish. But I guess just how it's impossible to mend the broken glass, it's not going to be easy to reinstate the relationship once so much pain and damage occurred.

This was great! Even setting up a room for her knowing is the first time he does that for a partner, says a lot about how he felt for her. Idk if I see this as an open ending tho, maybe I missed something but when he said she seems happier, hope she finds someone who makes her see starts again and him saying he's not sure he can compromise his ways, makes me think they know they won't be together
@@jenniferr.8794 they are most certainly not getting back together. That's the best ending for the both of them. But sometimes, since there's so many possibilities out there, I think it's fine to wish for another route. For an alternative ending, or an alternative universe 😅.

I’m only at the beginning half but why does the dude look so uncomfortable being with her, but only happy when he’s doing it with her
he's uncomfortable with the thought of loving someone. love changes things a lot so he was only at ease when he does it with her because at least it could be just sex with no strings attached (from his perspective). however, when they're not doing it, there's the pressure to somehow reciprocate her efforts in love.
Because the guy only wants sex with no strings attached. He became uncomfortable because the girl starting to cross the boundaries and expecting more from him and that scares him off.
Hana's acting was really impressive!! Hope to see her in other roles soon. The story was also very interesting and real, not like the typical kdramas that are so overdone these days.

Had a huge fight because I told mine to wait a second for me to finish working on something. The stupidity of these fights are beyond imagination.
The fight wasn’t about the glass, there was something going wrong in their relationship and they felt it, like the fact that the FL was getting suspicious of the ML and the ML having problems with how she kept messing his things up, and the glass breaking was just acting as the trigger.
In my country, they don't fight because of glass, but tupperware

Wow! Loved it! I like the ending too. Minhyuk was right. The 3 who got entangled with each other were broken and in pain to begin with and were holding on to it. The ending showed they all learned something from their relationship and are able to finally let go.
Well that one mini drama hit really hard.
Minhyuk sort of represents the viewers in a way. He’s watching them closely but also keeping his distance. He doesn’t get involved or try to stop them he just observes
This series deserves some kind one of Nobel Award

A really good drama, the acting was on point and the music was absolutelly amazing. The cinematography very aestetic, overall better than most over the top cringy dramas that got all the great stars and high ratings. honestly what went wrong here is communication. hyun was absolutely right in this case. even if he wanted to see her friend, he had to ask her if she's ok with it since it concerns her too. you are not above cheating just because you're in poly relationships.

I really liked this series it's definitely a different take on typical krdams that are usually popular, I liked the chaos & comfort it showed n someone's daily life. I don't particularly agree with Him young's actions behind what she did but I think I could sympathize with the reasons behind them. Buht this was really good ! WELL DONE 💜

This drama is much different from the most famous dramas which mainly focus on romantic relationship between the leads and second lead syndrome. This shows the different sexual preferences ( which really caught my eyes as there are very few dramas which focus on this) and the messed up life and their choices and the decision to cut off ties to live a better and happier life . It's a must watch drama
