The feeling is mutual. We lost our Benji Oct 2023. However, he was 19 months old. Ran into the street. Killed instantly. I cry less and less each day. But his absence is greatly felt. He made me happy beyond my recognition. Be well.
My little Fluffy used to love to do this. On Okinawa back in the 1960s, we had a house with tile floor. Fluffy would run through the living room. Put on the brakes and skid into the refrigerator. BANG. She'd then run back and forth and do the same thing -- BANG. She clearly loved doing it.
We lost our baby girl when she was 15. She had been rescued in a terrible condition from a puppy farm when she was 7 years old. After being kept in a tiny cage, she couldn’t run or jump as she had no muscle conditioning and didn’t know how to even be a dog. Fortunately, her last 8 years were spent happily and healthily. We sincerely thank the RSPCA for all their hard work in saving these precious babies.
