Personally, I use a wood burning tool w a small needle point to punch holes in my 3D printed masks and then handsew em. I try to avoid glue if possible as it can have weird reactions or melt off depending on what you use.
Visibility may vary based on your eyesight. I can read chat comments when I go live, but my buddy who wears glasses struggles in it a bit. It's definitely darker
Have you ever had purple show through the mask when reshrouding the eyes with that glue? Added new eye mesh to a frankenstein mask of my own the other day and had this issue. I thought it was just the fabric showing through but once the fabric was removed the left over residue was still showing through as purple?
@713ghostface thanks! I figured it out. It wasn't the glue itself it was the fabric showing its color through the vinyl. I was adding a second layer of eye mesh to darken the eyes for pictures and bright areas. Ended up using basic clear tape and it worked great plus I can remove it without damaging anything if I need to
Yay I'm your 1,000 subs! congrats
Incredible! Can't wait to have mine!
Excellent!
I 3D printed a KNB mask, but it is solid plastic. Could I just use a strong glue to apply the shroud?

Can you see very well with the fabric you used?

Hey I’m new to customizing masks, what fabric would you recommend for the new shroud?
Black polyester
can you please tell me the fabric that you use for the new eye mesh?
In the video I used some generic mesh. Nowadays I use 20 Denier PantyHose and cut the fabric for the eyes.

Never seen purple. Sometimes see yellow. Try to use clear glue 🙌

What percent of isopropyl alcohol did you use?
91%
OK 👍
Could I do this and hand sew it? I don’t have a machine
3:20 mark
What was the fabric you used from Joann?
Any comfortable fabric of your choice will work great!
