- It isn't anything too special but since a lot of you have been asking me to make a video about it... This is my Patch 1.8 Striker build which will be most effective in the Dark Zone.

Been running this for a month or so. Great advice about the npc's, staying in combat and keeping the stack's.

There are so many new players who don't have classified yet, it would be great to see such builds using the regular sets.
he already has a lot of those video's posted from previous patches. All that information is still relevant and you can fine tune any of them with the mods he is recommending here. i.e. you can build a Vig/Specialized HE build rolled for all EDR and Health. Easy peasy. Watch some of the old videos and start trying stuff out.
Im attempting to achieve a tank/damage build and this helped a lot. Now I know what to tweak and what to keep thank you!

@Marcostyle Great build choices. I especially like the Strike Back talent synergy. Good to see you using Assault Rifles with your Classified Striker build. On PS4 most players use shotguns and DAMN it is deadly.
I just need the Classified Striker gloves and then I think I'll try it with my Bullfrog since the Striker adds stability and The House as my secondary. I like to have two weapon types so I don't run out of ammo frequently.

Hi Marco, a video regarding non classified builds would be great as people may not have complete sets yet or none at all, but would help understand how to assemble a decent non classified build. Would be great to see those videos appear on your channel. Keep up the great work, love your channel!

I farmed the dz for 5 hrs and not a single classy
Eddie Esp grind the resistance wave 8 strat, if you don't get bored you'll get easy classifieds fast
farm resistance bro, i get one classy every 20min, sometimes even 2
even in resistance RNG can be shitty..like the only two sets I actually want are the striker and the sentry..and I have only 3 pieces from each set..it sucks :/

I've got the D3 6 piece but have yet to use it. 6 p. Predator is what I'm liking right now. Feels stronger than my 6 Striker. I love the bleed. The D3 was my go to build for a long time though. Great vid!

Marco, first off, I’d like to say I’m a fan of your work. Your videos really help when I try to go after a certain build, need some guidance on a particular activity, etc. I quit playing playing The Division awhile back and I’m still easing my way back into it and I was wondering if this specific build would work in PvE as well. I’m not a PvP player, however I do love using Striker. If it does work, would you let me know please? If not, could you make a video on a solo PvE Striker build?

My secondary m4 has sustained and predatory with responsive in the free slot. Gotta have at least one utility m4 so you can still burst with stacks if you need to.

Very nice setup, I'd love to see a Pred and possibly some solo and/or updated lone star variations for PvP :D. I've taken a really big liking to lone star after returning to the game after a year break. Currently running a hybrid electronics build at 5k/5k/6.3k with dual Big Alejandro's due to the sustain problems LS faces in solo/pvp groups without a healer. Curious if you could optimize a LS build from the sets front loaded damage bonuses and get some more survive ability with stacking sustain talents/weapon abilities and lowering firearms in favor for electronics and stam :x.

Simon Gillblad all the GE events will be available again. They are on rotation. So in a perfect world striker should be after this next event. And again in a perfect world that should be in February.
Adam Mitchell it took a friend of mine over 125 to get all the striker. But only 68 for me...RNG is nuts.

I made a crit build for stryker but I'm thinking about trying this out it makes alot of sense plus the exotic resilience stamina is out to purchase

your channel is helping a lot. started the division about a week ago, and a full classified set is a pain... better place to farm them it's dz bosses, do you have a 4 piece build or another kind of build good to solo this bosses easy at ilvl around 280 ?

Love striker iv made a good few vids on it. I feel it's the one set out of the three op sets that takes skill to use. Well on console anyway

In the video you have stamina on your mask and vest, but on the build you did on divisionbuilds.github.io you say 4 firearms 1 stamina roll. What is the better way to go. Thx

Anyone else think that they should come out with classified high end pieces and exotics have 1401 max stat rolls so high end and hexo builds can still compete. Now yellow drops feel like purple drops unless there sealed caches in the dz for div tech.

that would throw all classified sets outta the meta and straight in the trash, cause you will get ninjabike builds with far more utility and the same stats

A little help Working on builds that Arnt classified would be helpful. I know classys r the most powerful but their a little self explanatory when it comes to build videos. Love your content and am looking forward to more division stuff
alex metzger hexo build is the best if you don't have ANY classified
Grailer Grailer try out a sticky build you can heal team and sticky is super good at doing damage bulletproof chest piece inventive backpack and 4 piece tack best sticky build until 6 piece tack comes out
if you slap 2 nomad on with the 4 striker it helps alot to since you get the HP on kill
Hexo with 4800 firearms, 4800 stamina, 5500+ electronics (for strong heals, etc.)
Chest- Vigorous or Barrett
Mask- Refreshed
Knees- Shortbow (or a classified kneepad for a higher main stat if you don't have Shortbow)
Backpack - Specialized
Gloves- Skull MC
Holster- Col. Bliss, Nimble, or a Classified holster from a different set, so that you don't lose the Skull MC bonus.
Get as much Skill Haste and Exotic Damage Resilience as you can. That's gonna be about as good as it gets outside of a 6pc Classified set. Some decently optimized Ninja Bike Messenger Backpack combo builds are okay, too. Banshee/Tactician hybrids can hold their own in the DZ. But, against any good player with a Classified build, you *will* be at a statistical disadvantage.
In pve just get the holster which gives you hp regen upon cover-to-cover moves. Worked for me til I got classi striker.

Guys i recommend using a sasg 12 k with striker as with the 6 piece you get 16 or so stacks per shot and im able to 3 shot most people with the right talents
Easy Gamer lol pop shot is for newbie who want to learn the striker set BUT m4, bullfrog or the house is a melt machine if you play in close and struggle quarter (or long one for the m4)

Hey Marco, have you considered trying Self-preserved on that? Given the damage boosts you're getting the health on crits could give you a little more staying power.
thanks, great video. Can you speak to any cooldown reduction you get? I know you said strikeback procs are helpful, especially with the healing from the 6pc. anything else? Asking b/c you don't mod or role for skill haste anywhere.

My nomad keeps me alive so so much and I still can hit like a train, I use a house with responsive and unforgiving and I can still hit like a train while still staying alive, its insane.
My build is 6k stamina 6k Firerams with emphasis on skill haste. Is a fire turret and healing station along with two assault rifles... either a bullfrog/M8 or two M8s. Will occasionally use a showstopper. Liking the classy striker build a lot especially in the underground where I’m a hybrid healer/DPS. Use it also in the DZ

Can you add what the build is in the down load pic. Have been saving them all but gets a little confusing what's what after a bit.
I use predatory and determined on my sidearm And the Talent that when u kill someone gives u 30 extra ammo for the main weapon so when I knock someone I finish them with my sidearm and get all those bonuses

just for my understanding, striker buffs, unforgiving and competent are all, all weapon dmg % buff and are additive together, aren't they?
so we build here (best or worst case) 100% (striker) + 25% (unforgiving) + 10% (competent) + 12% ( AR dmg from the gloves) = +147% weapon dmg ((* 10% responsive))
so the real increase from competent is variable depending on the other stacks, but same goes for the other weapon telents left to choose from ...

What should the Crit Chance to Damage ratio be? 1:2 or 1:3? How does it truly work to get the best result?
+Marcostyle I did a similar build with the Classified Banshee and it seems pretty good. Are you going to show a classified banshee build anytime soon?
